Trent Scarr chef and owner of Ally chow has been cooking for 20 years and has a true passion for his job which is to "make you happy". He has worked around Australia on a discovery of food that has led him to Asian cuisine as his number one flavours to cook with.

Four of us made a reservation at Alley Chow last night. Had never eaten here before and had heard fabulous things about it and it was time to try. We arrived a little before our booked time, was greeted by a very efficient female staff member who informed us that our table was not quite ready and seated us at the cocktail bar. We had only just ordered our drinks when our table became available. It was the most pleasant experience. The food was phenomenal as was the service. Great night's dining and cocktails also "hit the spot". Definitely be back again and "spreading the love".

This place had a really cool vibe. The food was amazing! Really amazing!! Wasn’t sure how the menu worked was the only thing just because we struggled with how much to order but in the end we were full and happy so that’s a win. The stafff were great. The front of house woman and the English man. Very friendly and attentive even while really busy. Thanks you for our happy new year.

To be honest we come here because of the staff, especially Tamson.
Food is non questionable very good, drinks are off the charts but the service, man, this place knows what it takes to deliver a personalised customer experience
The vegan Chiang Mai curry is THE BOMB! Even you’re a meat lover, trust me, try and thank me after 😆
They will make you feel home and always want to come here for a cozy time even to yourself, or some romantic companions

You guys were great! Not only was the food incredible, but you were able to accomodate us so well when we accidentally had more people come than expected! You were also able to adjust when we had someone with dietary requirements that weren’t specified to you before the booking so we were all so grateful with how well you all handle it and have us such a great experience all round! Wow! Friends have raved about Ally Chow for years and finally came to visit.
The food was amazing. Amazing.
Jade and her mate looked after us on a quiet Sunday night with really friendly and efficient service. Nothing was too much trouble.

My friend and I availed the $79 banquet and the food on the photos are the ones they served as plus unlimited Thai Basil cocktail. The food is really nice and I think the only thing I don't like as I find it a bit salty is the stir friend vegetables but overall I will come back. The ambience is also very nice and cosy. Booking is needed as they get packed especially on weekends.
