This excellent family owned and operated Restaurant is not to be confused with other restaurants on the Coast with similar names. Situated in the heart of Broadbeach in Victoria Avenue opposite the Convention Centre and across from Oasis Shopping Centre, the restaurant offers diners a choice of intimate inside dining or outside dining catering to large parties.

The place has many red flags as you walk up to it.
- All 8 of our cups were dirty with lips stick marks of the previous user.
- Our penne pasta had a spaghetti in it.
- The fettucini had not 1 but 3 hairs.
- The water they poured us had dirty bits floating around in it.
- The waiter giving us parmesan cheese got everything covered with parmesan except the dish itself.
- One of the pasta dishes that wasn't supposed to have cheese, had cheese in it.
Extremely overpriced bland food. The steak is barely comparable to airplane food.
Average price $37 -$40 per dish. Avoid this place at all cost

After venturing to Broadbeach on 29/12/21 for dinner without a booking, we came to George’s and they were happy to find space for us, even though they were packed. We were sat out the front under umbrellas with the threat of rain which we were fine with. The waiters were friendly, the food came out so quickly. And it was delicious! My Moreton Bay Bug penne was amazing. And when the rain did set in, they quickly moved us under cover, even though they were still super busy with bookings to come in. Service, food and price all spot on. When we head to Broadbeach again we will definitely return.

I have a new favourite restaurant! Lovely warm friendly vibes and fantastic service all night. I (a seafood lover) and my friend (generally against all seafood) were both very well catered for; my scallops and mussels were divine, and she was very pleased with her apparently excellent steak. We both have plans to revisit at our earliest opportunity. Thanks George's team!

We are never disappointed at George's Broadbeach. I love the Hot Seafood Platter, my husband had a delicious Surf 'n Turf, others had beautiful fresh snapper and Gnocchi which my granddaughter pronounced, "The best ever".
The wait staff are amazing and even though we haven't been for a while one of the staff (sorry, I don't know his name) remembered us and we were very impressed.
The glass of Port to finish is a lovely touch. We will be back. Thank you.

Took my grandmother here for her birthday dinner & we were not disappointed. The waiters were lovely & very quick to serve. The steak was so thick & juicy, & actually cooked to perfection, thoroughly impressed. The mushroom gravy on top was just the perfect touch to this delicate cut of meat, flavoured amazing. The fish was cooked & flavoured beautifully, with a side of prawns as well, which were apparently delicious. The chicken risotto was flavoured very well, not too overpowering, so able to enjoy the entire dish! The cocktails were reasonably priced considering the location we were at, & tasted

Excellent restaurant! The staffs are very friendly. He recommended us to share the seafood platter and it’s very good! Everything included is very fresh, nothing disappointing. All of them are grilled just right. These includes grilled prawns, boiled prawns, scallop, raw oysters, grilled cheese oysters, grilled bugs, grilled cheese lobster and grilled barramundi, don’t know if I missed out anything. Also, with some salad and rice plated under the seafood, those were average, nothing special. The carbonara risotto is better than we thought. Balanced flavor with a bit of sweet and saltiness,

On our day trip to Gold Coast we stopped in a Broadbeach, whilst there decided to try a local restaurant for dinner.
Based on the reviews we booked at George’s and we weren’t disappointed. Our waiter Ben who was attentive to our every need! He was able to get us a table outside on the side walk which was vibrant and the atmosphere was awesome. The energy from Ben and the other staff made for the great evening..... 🙏
