Our Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program is delivered by a Bachelor Qualified Early Childhood Teacher and is aimed to ensure your children are ready for Prep.

At Cairns Central Childcare, we provide a loving, caring and nurturing environment that promotes each child's learning and development, self-esteem and individuality, while having a day that's lots of fun! Our qualified educators are passionate about delivering the highest quality of care and are committed to providing a positive, nurturing and stimulating environment where the needs of the children are our top priority.
Cairns Central Child Care Centre is open Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 6:30pm (closed public holidays) and has on-site parking for 16 allowing for the safe drop off and pick-up of children. Nurturing and responsive relationships are our primary focus for our Glow-worm children. Educators take time to get to know your child so that all children develop a strong sense of well-being and belonging.
If you are interested in placing your child with us we encourage you to visit. It is important for you and your child to become familiar with our centre, our educators and our philosophy of care. My husband and I are so grateful for the wonderful, warm, genuinely nurturing care our son receives. We are delighted with the wonderful things he learns every day and are very reassured that he is receiving the best care.

Great centre our children loved it there :) We were travelling through Cairns for work so we contacted the centre about bringing our children there while we worked. They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. It was fantastic that all the meals and snacks were provided as well as nappies which made packing for the day very easy. The staff were excellent and if we were to stay in once place for any length of time we would love to come back here.
