Being able to capture a moment that wont be there forever is truly a gift in itself. So is meeting all the beautiful people I get to capture, whether it be a wedding, extended family get togethers for portraits or photos the kids (of fur babies). My job is just amazing, not to mention lots of laughs.
Diamond Portraits is a small boutique studio located in the heart of Caringbah. Hi, I'm Cathy and I have been photographing weddings and portraits for 23 years. I can honestly say I love it as much today as I did the day I started. Capturing an image today, of family, of friends, whether it be a wedding or family portrait or just the kids, is truly a gift.
25 years, over 1000 weddings and I love it just as much today as the day I first started. Capturing all the emotion and love on a wedding day is really quite an honour. Knowing that any couple can look back on their wedding day through beautiful images is truly special. To ensure a couples wedding photos are a true representation of who they are.
Pre Wedding Session or Engagement Sessions, as we like to call them are in a word amazing! Engagement sessions are so much fun. Not only do I get to know what a couple is really like, or how they photograph but I get to teach them a whole lot about how to stand, where to put their hands and generally just make them feel so much more relaxed about being photographed for their wedding.
Video and Photography really do compliment each other when it comes to capturing a wedding day. They have their own, beautiful unique way of capturing the festivities and telling your story. Our combined photo and video packages start from $4990. They include full coverage till completion of formalities, albums, edited highlights as well as full edited video and much more.

Just received our son's football team photos and they look amazing. The team photo looks great, all the boys are smiling and the set up/positioning of the team looks very streamlined and professional. The individual photo is the best that's been taken of my (teenage, refusing to smile) 14-year old son for a long time, finally a photo I am really happy with and excited to share. Great job!

Four years ago, my wife and I were at a wedding expo just getting an idea of what we liked as our wedding was not going to be for another 2 years. We came across Cathy at the expo and that was it, we knew we’d found our wedding photographer. Cathy is kind, bubbly and an altogether amazing person. She knew how to make us feel comfortable having our photo taken and captured the memories so we can still feel the emotions from that moment through the photos to this day. She becomes an extension of your family after you have your photos with her. We can not recommend her high enough!

My two daughters just had a amazing experience with Cathy in her studio. My girls are very dedicated ballerinas and the images she produced are nothing short of inspirational, the kids absolutely loved the photo shoot and talked about it for days after. The photos are so artistic and far from the typical indoor studio bland photos, they also just captured their very different personalities. Simply amazing

Overpriced!!! My husband and I had our wedding photos done with Diamond Photography, which we were happy with. However we went back a year later for our babys newborn shoot.
We paid over $1000 for 6 photos printed and on a harddrive, and this did NOT include keeping the rest on a harddrive. (We had about 30 photos taken)
In the newborn shoot, we supplied our own props, my baby had no photos taken being wrapped, in a bed or any scenery. Our photos were just of our baby in our arms. Thats it.
Diamond Photography is only good for wedding photos / family photos. You can find cheaper and more experienced

We had a family portrait take with our beloved dog who at the time was 14 years old. Cathy was an absolute gem and getting our 2 little kids and Diesel to co operate. The photos are absolutely amazing and total priceless, Diesel has since passed but these memories hang on our wall and remind us of him every day. Cant recommend this lady enough. We are forever grateful.
