Your campervan / pop-top needs to have inbuilt eating, sleeping, food preparation and food storage facilities. You must not admit guilt or liability or offer a payment or agree to settle a claim without our consent. You must take all reasonable precautions to prevent any further loss, damage or liability. Depending on the laws of the state or territory in which the accident occurs if a person is injured as a result of the accident contact and request the police attend.
If you have suffered a windscreen breakage or window glass breakage and the cost to replace the screen or window glass is below $800 then you may proceed with the replacement of the glass. You can either pay for the replacement and then submit a copy of the account to us (email or fax is fine) and we will reimburse you minus an excess amount if your policy is subject to one.
If you have broken down due to a mechanical or electrical fault and you need a tow to the nearest repairer you can either arrange for the tow yourself if you know of a tow company nearby, pay for it and then submit a copy of the account to us (fax or email is okay) and we will reimburse you in accordance with the limit under the policy ($600 per incident with a maximum of $1000 per policy period).

We have been with Ken Tame for nearly 20 years and would recommend them for giving great care when needed .Having had several claims handled very quickly ,including a medical emergency requiring repatriation of ourselves and motorhome to our home thousands of ks away we cannot speak more highly of Ken Tame .They are easy to contact when you need them .Maybe a bit dearer than others but you get what you pay for ,great care and service

Making a claim during the silly season (Christmas/New year holiday's 2020/2021) and found staff very friendly and professional.
Considering the holidays found things were done reasonable quick over the telephone. Claim approved after the assessor looked at the damage.
I salute Ken Tame & Associates and staff for their great service and getting things done at a difficult time.
Keep up the great work that you are doing.

As for the company repairing the vehicle, have the vehicle booked in, now I wait, they are making me wait 5 weeks from the booking, 1 week gone, 4

I aproached Ken Tame insurance for a motor home insurance was requested to get a valuation done which I did , then was asked for photos which I emailed back ,that was about a month ago he said he would have to get back to me . I am still waiting for a reply . Thank goodness there are other insurance companys that don't make you jump through hoops . Very dissapointed in the whole experience

I only give one star because no option for a minus score.
Been insured for years with them now claim... campervan damaged... quoted for repaired...offered less than one quarter of quoted. Told I have to pay for the rest!
Will not be able to repair.
I am a pensioner and have trusted them for years now I have my only treasure damaged and ugly.
Camper broken into and all electronics stolen due to previous unrepaired damage to door. Woman told me I should have parked it indoors!
Now claim for electronics told maybe I can claim!
Do you think they might be a good option?

I was recommended Ken Tame by the gentleman who sold me my campervan. He told me that we were getting great discounts with them as members of CMCA. When I got my quote, it was about double the price he was paying before selling me the van. When I questioned the price, all I was told was that it was the correct price. No further questions, no explanation. They do not seem to care about educating their potential customers. You guys are selling insurance. You're supposed to make people trust you and explain what you're selling in a language people who do not work with insurance will understand. When

I'm writing on behalf of my father.. he has been paying insurance with this so called INSURANCE COMPANY and has never made a claim and always paid what was owed. He was getting his motorhome ready for a trip up north. When the unfortunate happens. The van caught on fire in the cab. Dad was devastated as he works 7 days a week Sun up till Sun down and was really looking forward to this trip. He thought that it would be ok as he has insurance. I called for insurance quote on motorhome. The female was very difficult to speak with. Not helpful. Impatient when I explained special circumstances. When I had cause to call back 2 days later after her over the top requests for inspections etc were negated by Dept of transport, mild improvement in her manner.
At the end if the day, I called CIL who gave me insurance immediately, competitive pricing and very helpful young man.
Would definitely not recommend Ken Tame insurance.
