The Commonwealth provides assistance for 2 to 17 year old children through the Child Dental Benefits Scheme. For those eligible, please inform us when you are making an appointment for your kids. We need to check your eligibility and the amount of benefit entitled. Please bring your Medicare card to the appointment.

We take a wholistic approach to your dental treatment which is why we offer everything from your check up to orthodontics to cosmetic dentistry. We use the latest technology including 3D smile simulations, at-home smartphone check-ups for orthodontics, reduced radiation x-rays and non-invasive techniques for the early detection of dental caries.
A tooth abscess, toothache, and throbbing pain usually start at the worst times and getting help as soon as possible is important. Some other types of dental emergencies may include: knocked out or broken teeth, sensitivity to hot and/or cold, facial swelling, difficulty opening your mouth, pain on chewing/ speaking, gum pain, and smelling and/or bleeding from the gums.
A dental filling is a procedure used to restore a hole, cavity, or damaged tooth back to its normal function and shape. Dental caries are the most common infectious disease and most common cause of tooth cavity. In the past, metallic or amalgam material were used most of the time to restore tooth cavities.
Sometimes cracks could be tricky and hard to find, but using Diagnocam technology, we can find most of hidden cracks without exposing you to an x-ray. A chipped or cracked tooth should be assessed as soon as possible to evaluate extension, potential underlying cause and risks. Fortunately, most of the cracked teeth are savable and according to the cause assessment are preventable.
When caries, broken teeth remained untreated, the infection will be extended to the root and nerve of the tooth and cause sever tooth pain. Root canal therapy is performed to save the tooth and relieve the pain. Root canal therapy is a safe and effective way to save teeth in the majority of deeply damaged teeth.

I have been doing an orthodontist treatment with Dr Kia and his team. I am super happy with the treatment. I feel cared for at each appointment and all the staff are super friendly. The team is doing a great job at monitoring my progress and making changes to my treatment to achieve a great outcome. Distinct Dental Centre provides impeccable services and I highly recommend them!

My experience in this place is a 5 star journey from the beginning to the very end. Dr Kia is a perfectionist, he took his time with everything he did. I absolutely happy with my teeth now. Dr Kia is very caring, and ensured that I was comfortable the entire time. I visited few Orthodontists prior to choosing Dr Kia as my go to for my invisalign treatment. I can say that I made the right decision. Both Dr Kia and Dr Yalda have been very attentive, professional, caring and patient towards me and what I would like to achieve from my treatment.
The surgery is well equipped with the latest equipments, especially for scans and xrays, saving me time and money to go go to scanning centres.

Visited local dentist and found this clinic. Dr. Kia and his team are very professional and caring which lifted off my anxiety of visiting the dentist. They are equipped with the latest technology, including 3D scanners and x-rays which made it convenient for myself as I didn't need to visit other radiography centre. They have TV installed in ceiling which kept me entertained and made the experience at the dentist pleasant :)

I went to this clinic with my husband for the first time. It is very easy to find a car spot around the clinic. The clinic is very accessible as well. Dr. Yalda and Dr. Kiarash both are awesome. They are really professional in their job. They did cleaning for my husband’s teeth with no at all pain. They are really friendly and made good consultation about out teeth. I really loved the environment of the clinic as well. It is very nice, clean and modern. Social distancing and hygienic protocols all are followed there. I recommend this clinic to everyone. The price is affordable as well.
