A pub that has chosen to discriminate against their clients based on medical decisions (the irony). "Fully Vaxxed only"... I will never be back, I will not support a company that supports segregation in Australia! what's next, are you going to support them when they want to round up the unvaxxed?? BTW, I am vaxxed.

Dog friendly pub in the covered outside area. Great steak cooked fast. Bring a friend if your dog does not obey your ‘sit/stay’ command otherwise getting your meal from inside could be a problem for you. Beware: the gate to the outside is locked by around 8.00 pm and puppy can’t be taken through the inside part of the pub. Great spot to have lunch after visiting Meadowbank dog park. Park off street or in Coles/Woolies car park free if under 2hrs. Will come back again!

Beautiful place with exceptional service. We organised an event at the West Ryde and the staff was incredibly helpful and the food was amazing, we had compliments the entire day. Jackie was an absolute star and she helped with everything from beginning to end and she always ensured every aspect of the event was going to plan. Can't recommend this place and its staff enough.

Just popped in for a Covid life pint of Coopers ($10.00) after visiting a close friend. Nice, bright and welcoming venue. Loads of space to drink and eat. If I had friends I would meet them here for drinks. I decided to have lunch and I was not disappointed. Thinking of having a steak and the great thing about the West Ryde Hotel is there self barbecue steak option. Great idea as the price of the steak is less and nothing better than grilling your own steak whilst drinking a cold pint of beer. In the late 1980s through to the late 1990s having to grill your own steak was as far as I have experienced

I’m sorry to report a disappointing Saturday evening here, after lots of good ones in the past.
- It was freezing inside - all possible doors were either propped open to let cold air through, or so sensitive to movement that someone standing on the terrace (where a group was gathered) by the automatic door between the fire and indoor BBQ meant it… kept opening, repeatedly. Many people were sitting in puffa jackets inside eating dinner.
- The BBQ was not hot enough (as commented on by a number of people cooking at it), and the end by the window to the terrace wasn’t even turned
