Getting your own hair styled or getting the children's hair cut can be such a chore. We all like looking good and want the same for our children. We recognise and understand the difficulties in getting kids to sit still while getting their hair cut, so at Hair by Rebecca Hairdressing we have put the fun into getting a haircut.
We have created a salon that caters to the whole family. An environment that is family friendly and caters to adults and children. Children can get their hair cut in one of our special novelty chairs or specially designed areas while they watch their favourite movie on TV or play a game on an IPad or they can take time out in our play area while the parents get their hair done.

My name is Rebecca, I am the proud owner of 'Hair By Rebecca Hairdressing'. I have been in the hairdressing industry since 1984, working for various people who have all helped to mould me into the experienced Hairdresser that I am today. I am very dedicated and passionate about my job and love the daily interaction with my customers.
To ensure it is also a memorable one, we offer a haircut certificate for each special child who gets their very first haircut at Hair By Rebecca. The certificate is something to be treasured forever and even includes a lock of hair & photo to keep. Hair by Rebecca offers a range of different kids packages, designed for either a single child or groups of up to 8 children.

I absolutely trust these beautiful ladies with my hair. I never feel rushed and they are honest about what suits your face. There colourings are brilliant. Vibrant pink/ blues/red for those stand out colours in hair. They cater for your precious childs first haircut to catering for a childs gift party where there friends can also be treated with cute sparkly hair and fingernail polish and little toes🦄🦄🦄

Claire did such an amazing job with my 2 year old son's hair, she was so patient with him and took the time to make a bond up with him first. His last hair cut at different hairdressers we had to stop half way because he was so upset and didn't feel comfortable, at hair by Rebecca he was happy as, not one tear. All the staff their were all so lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We had my daughters first haircut (age4!) here the other day and it was great. Maddie was a but nervous before coming but loved the motorbike and ipad experience. and play area for waiting was great as I also had my 2yo son with me.
The displays are great for kids and adults alike (great for kid bribery if you've you've got a skilled negotiator!)
Highly recommend & worth travelling for.

You would expect this place to do kids haircuts only, however they did an amazing job on my mums hair. This is surprising because my mum normally is very frustrated with her hair, we've tried numerous things, and she always goes back to a basic ponytail. However they made her hair look lovely and full, and then styled it into an elegant up do. They also did pretty well on my super fine hair when I did a hair trial, and I'm confident they will do a lovely job for my wedding. Thank you.

Heard great things, experience wasn’t the greatest.... kept teasing my son based on his hair cut choice, comments like at least you can look back in 20 years time and have a laugh etc weren’t ideal. A 9 year old hears these comments and understands them. My other son was told he doesn’t want to look like a goober.
Felt very rushed, all 3 boys in and out in less than 30 mins, no product used, the boys were left itchy as the hair wasn’t properly cleaned off them. Won’t return.
