The first impression is staff don't want to be there. Met by an older lady with glasses on this visit who seemed like I was doing her a disfavour by being there. I had received a verbal quote a month earlier offering $550 only to be low balled on this visit, $230.... over this time the price for gold had gone up so I was bemused why the price had gone down as you claim the payment is based on weight. Seems like there is underhanded business going on here taking advantage of people in a very tough economic climate.

I purchased an engagement ring for my wife two years ago and my wife is still with me which means that the ring I purchased was of superb quality & and was exactly what I asked for.
I can also say that the manager Alicia was very helpful and made purchasing an engagement ring really easy. I don’t normally write reviews but I would definitely recommend Adelaide Exchange Mitcham for anyone looking for jewellery!

Decided to sell one of my rings I no longer wanted and they offered me $280 for a $5500 ring in amazing condition. Don’t try and sell to them as you will be ripped off and extremely disappointed, they will give you some poor excuse as to why they offer you nowhere near value as it hides the lack of knowledge. Will never go there again to sell nor buy as even the attitude I got was extremely poor.

When I saw this weeks Mitcham Managers special on Instagram I fell in love with it, it was a stunning Garnet ring at an amazing price. I went into the store and found both staff, Ali and Rebecca to be extremely helpful and pleasant and the ring was even prettier in person. Not sure if I agree with these bad reviews posted by others. Fantastic service from the Mitcham store. Had nothing but great experiences there from the Manager and other staff members. I think people need to use common sense before jumping on here and making silly reviews, no need to attack innocent retail staff just trying to do their jobs- in most cases doing everything they can in the best interests of the customers.

From walking in the door and having a laugh with Security to working with the store manager, who seems to get what the customer wants not too mention also has a good sense of humour was very happy with our purchase.
