Services
Steve's rewarding training career developed from his love of boating and deep-sea fishing. He worked in the marine industry as a Recreational Marine Driver License (RMDL) and Jet Ski License (PWC) instructor. Steve then went on to work as a Professional Driver Trainer with RACQ. He taught 4WD training for the mining industry, 2WD defensive driving, company employer assessment drives and medical assessment drives.
Sue has 20 years of experience as an Instructor and has also spent time as an Instructor/Assessor in Adelaide. She initially decided to become an instructor after teaching a friend to drive and enjoying the experience. Sue hopes to contribute to our community by creating drivers that are competent with both the skills and knowledge as well as incorporating defensive driving to improve their awareness on the road.
Do you want your P plater to learn and practice additional driving skills in a safe and controlled environment? The Defensive Driving Course - Level 1 is a great first step which gives participants the opportunity to learn new skills and test them out using their own vehicle, The course includes a mix of relevant theory and track based practical exercises.
Our goal is to teach our students to drive safely and to assist them in gaining their licence. We stand behind our motto, Safe driving, for life. The Driving Test is a very important time for learner drivers because as soon as they pass they are able to "go solo" and drive on their own. We understand that getting your licence is a very big event and we aim to make sure you are not just ready for the test, but ready to be a solo driver.

Our Instalment plan is designed for new learners so that driving lessons and costs can be spread over a multiple payments. Angie has been incredible. I’ve had a lot of driving instructors but she has been the best. She is calm and explain things really well - and I feel much more confident on the road and it’s only been 3 lessons. She also has lots of little tips to keep you safer on the road that a learner driver wouldn’t think of. She’s excellent and I would absolutely recommend her.

Coastwide was recommended to me by a friend who was doing Manual lessons with Murray and had a wonderful experience. Because I was learning in automatic I ended up doing lessons with Christos. He is an amazing teacher, who is patient, kind and very funny. As a person who suffers with anxiety and can get panic attacks I've struggled doing lessons with my mum but Christos makes it so easy for me. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing lessons and especially anyone who is a little nervous. He's the best!
