Just a warning - do not order via Menulog. Placed an order for pickup, arrived at the restaurant and it was completely closed. There were others who also ordered via Menulog there so it wasn't an issue with just my app. The sign at the front said it was open on this specific day, and google also said it was open. Not sure if this was an issue with Menulog or with Lantern Palace, but please call ahead to be sure.

Bad customer service. Bad smell. No lighting. Glasses so small. Bearly spoke English. No music. Bathrooms were in very run down conditions and smelt very bad. Dirty plates. Food was decent. 3/5 food. Kicked us out early. Made us pack our own dishes away. Screaming from the kitchen. Very bad wouldn’t recommend and will never becoming here again!!!!

Thought to try this place for the first time so my partner and I ordered 60 dollars worth of food
Fried rice is (visibly) burnt and dry
beef chow mein was disgusting tasted like raw eggs
Rainbow steak was okay but too dry
Only good thing out of it all was the curry puffs! Although we won't be back for more.

Giving 3 stars because the food is fairly decent. The staff is so unprofessional except from one Australian girl. The decor is outdated. This place always smell bad. Once they had toilet leakage problem and you could smell it all the way to the reception. We had to ask the lady to put our table outside. Turned off multiple times. We’ve decided not to go there again.

Placed an online order and received confirmation email saying it was successful and a text saying our order had been rejected and a refund would appear in 6 hours. Had to call to find which was correct. The rejection was correct and no reason was given. Waste of time.

I have always just driven past here and never stopped to try it. Everywhere was so packed tonight so I stopped in here because it was empty with my partner. We ordered 3 x dishes and fried rice. Neither of us could eat it ! I spent $90.00 for this food. The omelette was rubbery non edible, the chicken didn’t even tast or have the same texture as chicken, the fried rice tasted burnt and I’m really unhappy. I wish I never stopped here. Not to mention the place stunk really bad.
This one star is for the one lady that served me. Deffinately not the food.

I think one of the best Chinese restaurants on the central coast , friendly staff , plenty of seating ( they can cater for large groups) a large bar , plenty of parking right out the front , toilets were clean , there food is amazing and well priced with good servings.

Typical Chinese menu. We found the Mongolian beef a bit too sweet though.
Staff were nice, except for one white lady who came to our table to take the order, we asked her for a minute and she walked away rolling her eyes. That same lady came back later, stood about 3 meters from us and said “oh you’re still eating?”. It took me a few seconds to process that she actually said what she said, otherwise I would’ve said “what does it look like we’re doing??”. I couldn’t understand her attitude. The restaurant wasn’t even busy!
