This was actually a pretty good pub, though getting to it without a car can be quite painful, but then again it really isn't so much the pubs problem. The pub itself is quite large, and also has a pretty decently sized beer garden as well. The other thing that I really liked about it was that they had a great selection of beer on tap as well, which is quite surprising for a suburban pub in Brisbane.

The atmosphere and service were great. The drinks were served fast even during a Friday night.
The pub food were interestingly unique. The price was decent but as the last reviewer said, best place to go if you aren't bothered cooking.
I would recommend it as a good place to catch up for a pint or two with your mates.

Went there last night for a birthday. Its a lovely pic space and there was a dance floor everyone was getting into but because of the zoning of the place it didnt affect our conversations outside at all.
It was hard to all sit together as a group out there because there were only separate picnic tables. Very nice staff too.

I didn't want to go to a pub with a giant billboard of scary looking cougars toting the sign 'Saturday Night is Ladies Night'. I may not be an expert in this area, but my gut instincts tell me that ladies won't have much fun here on a Saturday night.
Despite my catty remarks and protests, I did end up going to The Glen eventually but fortunately not on a Saturday night. My husband worked down the road at the Technology Park at Eight Mile Plains and The Glen was convenient for networking functions and work parties.
