For example, the only way to find out if you have high blood pressure is to have it checked regularly. High blood sugar and high cholesterol levels also may not have any symptoms in the early stages. Simple blood tests can check for these conditions. Have your blood pressure checked once a year.

Antenatal Shared Care is often not well understood by many parents to be. Access is also often a limiting factor in parents choosing this type of pregnancy management. Shared Care is simply where your GP remains an active part of your pregnancy management. Many parents decide on this path, as your GP will be the one who manages you and your babies health once the baby is born.
Our doctors are experienced in all travel health matters and can offer you great advice and support for all your travel plans for your entire family. We suggest you make an appointment with one of our doctors, and bring your travel itinerary with you. The vaccines themselves are not covered under Medicare, however our GPs services are BULK Billed, along with our Immunisation Accredited Nurses.
Skin checks are by appointment only (not by walk-in). The consult length will depend on your skin, so will vary between $75 (rebate $38.20) or $105 (rebate $72). We are able to offer the full services of a skin cancer clinic, including excisions, removal of cysts, skin cancers and other lesions. We can perform complicated flaps and grafts, and can perform these services on difficult body areas, including ears, nose, face, hands, lower legs etc.
Mental illnesses may be caused by life events, genetic factors or birth defects. They can be temporary or lifelong and include mood, anxiety, personality, psychotic and compulsive disorders. Help is available to prevent or manage mental health problems. There is often a stigma around mental health that prevents people from seeking help, especially amongst men and adolescents.

I can’t recommend the entire centre highly enough. The reception team are fabulous and always so welcoming and kind, the doctors are great and very thorough (both in person and on Telehealth) and the resident nurse is also wonderful. They have kept a level head during the pandemic and have been accommodating to non-Covid illnesses (especially children’s!) when other centres weren’t. I have no affiliation - just a genuinely happy customer. Thanks to all there! :)

Explained to receptionist I have a sick 9 month old. Rang ahead and was told 10 minute wait, walk ins only no appointments. Drove down 15 minutes later and when I got there was told 45 minute wait. That’s fine, I understand. Come back after 50 minutes and we haven’t been called. Still waiting, almost 2 hours later, with my sick 9 month old and receptionist says doctor has a paid appointment ahead, we’re first on the list for walk-in list. You can imagine how frustrating to hear you can make a paid appointment after all of this. No apology, no empathy. Still waiting. Don’t go here if you

Treatment was good. Also didn't have to wait long to see the doctor.
Felt unorganised though. Didn't receive test results. Doctor didn't show up on time on second appointment.
Also after my treatment, I needed some insurance paper, and they wanted tocharge me to talk with the doctor, so he can sign my stuff! That's just completely ridiculous.

Referred by a friend who had just started to attend. Friendly, helpful staff on arrival who actually smile and don't continue having a conversation with one another before noticing you standing there waiting. Doctors who wait for you when they call your name, shake your hand and introduce themselves and don't disappear down a hallway with you to follow them into their consulting room. A much different experience to another local centre and the treatment I received was excellent. I hardly had to wait but as word gets out about how good this one is, I can imagine the wait times may understandably
