Leaps and Bounds has been a leading performing arts provider in the Gippsland region since 2004, offering classes in Sale and Yarram. Students learn to dance in a caring environment, which focuses on individual needs and encourages self expression. At Leaps and Bounds we aim to continue our philosophy of providing fun and safe dance tuition through our outstanding teaching staff, as well as maintaining a high level of customer service.

All staff have WWC checks and first aid training. We are affilated with the Australian Teachers of Dancing and Acrobatic Arts. Our studios offer a wide range of classes, as well as the opportunity for students to expand their dance experience through participation in eisteddfods throughout Gippsland and ATOD ballet exams.
Services
Ballet provides the basics for all other styles of dance. Classical ballet originated over 500 years ago in court dances and has continually developed over time. Traditionally, ballet has been a way of telling a story using music, dance and mime. Classical Ballet is a very technical style of dance that provides students with the basics of correct posture, coordination and muscle strength that can then be used in any physical activity.
Students with outstanding fees from the previous term will not be permitted to enrol or dance until the account has been settled. Please go to the "Enrol Online" section to view current prices for our dance classes. 10% family discount (also applies to adult classes!) Re-enrolment is held at the end of each term.

Leaps and Bounds is a warm and professional dance school where dancers of all abilities, ages, and those students with special needs are welcomed and valued. Principals, Miss Jenny and Miss Holly, and their staff, provide nurturing and supportive class environments that encourage students to extend and challenge themselves. The emphasis is on participation, not competition or comparison, and every dancer is taught to develop their potential to be the best dancer they can be. The school offers a broad range of styles and caters for casual recreational dancers through to turning out professional

I started here in about 2017-18 in the middle of the term and the teachers did not help me whatsoever. even when I did catch up it was obvious that the teachers had favorites and did not help other students exempting the favorites. other students are cocky and just as rude as the teachers. if your looking for a warm welcoming environment and your kids to build their dance skills, this is a horrible choice.
i suggest in-step dance school. i haven't personally experienced it, but from friends point of view, their studio and teaching skills are highly reprehensible.
