Services
We are a family friendly dance school that encourages students to learn their dance skills in a supportive and fun environment. Students join our classes to learn dance but ultimately experience much more through the friendships they make. We currently offer classes for all ages including Ballet, Jazz and Tap.
We offer many styles of dance through our classes. The easiest way to work out which style or styles of dance are most suited to your child/ren is to take advantage of our trial offer, where students can try all the classes and styles that are suitable for their age group with no obligation to continue after the trial class.
All of our students are involved in our annual end of year concert held in November. Each group performs at least one dance in costume on stage. It is an absolute highlight of the year with all students having a fabulous opportunity to showcase what they have learned throughout the year and to experience performing on stage in front of an audience.
Our first choice of classes for Lower Primary Age, include Ballet and a Combo Jazz/Tap class. Students are introduced to these foundation styles through these two classes and are a great first step to more formal Theatrical Dance Styles. From approximately 5 years old, students study a Ballet class appropriate to their age and skill level.
In-Step Dance School is proud to be an Affiliate Partner Studio with DanceStep. This program encourages and empowers our next generation of young leaders by providing opportunities for students to assistant teach within certain classes. Working alongside our dance teachers, assistants also study theory from the DanceStep program, providing valuable knowledge in areas such as Anatomy, Safe Dance, Learning Styles and Musicality.
