Services
Kindy Korner is a family based company that has been providing care and education to families of the Illawarra for over 25 years. Our Farrell St service at Balgownie caters for 0-3 year olds and our John St service also at Balgownie caters for the preschool group of 3-5 year olds. Our Unanderra site opened in 2016 and caters for children 0-6 years across 3 rooms (babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers).
The vision of the EYLF is that learning occurs in a play based style that is engaging and allows children to succeed in life. Educators use the framework to plan and implement experiences for your child and evaluate the outcomes of this learning in consultation with the EYLF. Individual needs are catered for as each child's development is closely monitored and further planning designed to maximise your child's potential.
Please contact the Family assistance office on 136150 or www.humanservices.gov.au to register your child for child care subsidy. You will need to provide your family and your child's reference numbers on the enrolment form. If these numbers are not provided full fees will be applicable. Our son just graduated after being at this centre since it opened. (And I attended the Balgownie centre as a child). The staff are amazing. The kids always have a great time and are always learning new things. You also have the opportunity to contribute/ suggest things for the kids to do. The owner is lovely and along with the managers, will listen to your concerns. We cant recommend it highly enough.

My son has been attending Kindy Korner for a year now and he absolutely loves it (as do we). The staff are engaging and welcoming and his development has come along in leaps and bounds. I cannot recommend Kindy Korner highly enough and am so glad we found them. We had sampled other day care centres before finding Kindy Korner, but knew instantly they’d be the right fit.

I would give 100 star review if I could. My two sons attend and we cannot fault the centre. My son Tommy will be leaving this year to start big school and is so upset that he won't be able to go anymore. Anyone thinking of sending their child/children her you won't be disappointed. They go above and beyond every single day.
