DanceXS provides Latin and ballroom dance classes for kids, teens and adults - of all skill levels. We navigate novices through first steps, guide dance lovers through a ravishing repertoire, and help elite dancers hone skills to dip, twirl and glide into local, national or international competition.
We love dance - and we're sure you do too. However, we also understand that it can be a little daunting stepping into a new studio for the first time. Our adult classes run Tuesday nights and you can start any time. We want to keep our studio accessible to all, so we also keep it affordable. It's $25 for a casual visit; or $20 per class sold in a block of six that you can use in non-consecutive weeks.
DanceXS is about the love of dance. And while we will never tire of glitz and glamour, we're not precious when it comes to our lessons - so casual, comfortable clothes and shoes are just fine. Once you are in the swing of things, however, we do recommend professional dance shoes. It's not just about the look - although you will look super chic and stylish - it's about feeling in harmony with the dance floor.
With classes for all ages and all abilities - and across a variety of styles, including ballroom, Barre Attack and belly dancing - DanceXS has something for everyone. I am writing compliments and recommendation on behalf of myself and very large groups of dancers and students who have been following Stefano for years with sincere passion for dancing. As a relative beginner, I approached ballroom dancing with some trepidation- particularly knowing that Stefano is a highly esteemed Australian and World champion. However, his warm and welcoming manner, enthusiasm and encouragement were very reassuring. His teaching style is engaging, thoughtful and and patient- as he keeps thinking of creative ways to get his message across. He always reminds us to keep having fun. He often affectionately references the knowledge he gained from his own teachers, so that expression of gratitude in so highly qualified a master tells you a lot about his character

I am extremely disappointed with the performance exhibited by the teaching staff at this facility. Please do not believe the Facebook reviews as these are given by the owners favourite families whom they give a majority of their time to, even during group periods.
I am paying top dollar for my child to learn under a highly awarded instructor and crew, yet my child dances pigeon-toed and crook-legged. I personally had to "jump ship" when various rumours about his students started to form... and I started to believe them.
If you have nowhere else to go, go here, but try to leave ASAP

Simply terrible, the main instructor and owner of the business is terrible. Cares only for his 'favourites,' those who pay the most. Terrible business practicioner. Although facilities are great, there is no soul and know learning involved for those who aren't his 'favourites.' DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE IF YOU WANT THEM TO LEARN 'DANCING'.
