I recently went to Broome and shopped for a pearl ring in the Allure showroom. On looking at the rings was told that all jewellery in the store was made of 18 ct gold. I was also told that in the boutique store at Cable Beach all jewellery in there stores was 18ct gold. I purchased a ring and that evening decided to wear to dinner. To my surprise opened the box and inside was a receipt stating the ring was 9ct gold. So I returned it to the shop the next day where I was treated like I was in the wrong. I think this was a gross misrepresentation, if all stock is not 18ct do not tell your customers
