Very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful river views and a nice pool. If you book the largest family room you have a fantastic balcony with lounge seating overlooking the river. Easy walk into town from here.

The owner was super lovely and so accommodating, when we got to the Inn everything was closed and the owner provided us with some dinner so we didn’t go to bed hungry! Clean rooms, Netflix and a nice stop over to rest your head!

Had to shuffle booking multiple times due to covid (sigh). Shane at reception was very patient and accommodating in helping me consider various options and get to a good outcome.

We did not end up staying here due to Covid-19 ramping up in NSW and Qld health advise not to travel to NSW. We notified the hotel 2 days prior to travel but we were still charged for Our accommodation. Contacted Taree Motor inn and Booking .com who tried to get us a refund but Taree Motor Inn still won't budge on giving us a refund.
Would not recommend dealing with this establishment during Covid times as it seems they won't refund you due to their cancellation policy.

Good for a one night stay on your way north or south along the Pacific Motorway. The layout is "interesting" and let's be honest, it's glorious days are long gone. The pool is a nice backyard pool we couldn't use due to the weather. Might have been nicer if we could have enjoyed it (but that's not the inn's fault). The room was clean and tidy and the water pressure in the shower amazing. Unfortunately, the bathroom was a bit tiny.
The adjunct restaurant is closed and just serves as a mock-up.
Overall, for a one night stop en route it is perfect - not for staying longer.

When you’re paying $100 per night at a motel you expect much better. No internal lock or safety chain on front door. Peeling paint in all rooms. TV shoved in a cupboard which was too small and remote not working. Carpet old and stained. Hot water took ages to heat up and you don’t need to add cold. Shower rose broken. Bed located under window so outdoor light shines on your face all night. Room 7 is more like a maintenance room, ugly with no external view windows.
Owners tried to improve the room by painting over everything, including the tiles. On a positive note, the towels and bedding was
