Blue Ocean Industries was founded in 2016 as a small family run CNC machining and engineering business. Thanks to the rapid growth of our customer base over the following two years we doubled in both floor space and in CNC machining capacity and capability.
In early 2018 we acquired C & E Machinery Pty Ltd, a Brisbane based engineering business and composite materials distributor which was first established in 1956 and had been operating under the same ownership since 1983.We continue to support C & E Machining customers with the sale of Bakelite Pro as well as both woven and moulded brake lining.

Our team has over 50 years of experience across all facets of mechanical engineering, CNC Machining and manufacturing, giving us the expertise to work alongside our customers to develop concepts into prototypes, offer advice, and supply components using the best manufacturing methods for small to large-scale production.
Blue Ocean Industries also distributes a range of composite engineering materials including Tufcot and Bakelite Pro that can be supplied in raw sheet, rod or tube. Alternatively, it can be combined with our expertise in CNC programming and machining to provide our customers with a finished part that is guaranteed to be precise, reliable and of the highest quality.
