Below are the available lesson packages that Start-Smart Driving School uses on a regular basis to instruct our students on safe practices, both in and out of the city. All lesson prices are as listed below, with the most common lesson deal being the single lesson. This not only gives our instructors the perfect amount of time to teach students, but it also gives students the time to digest everything that happens in the lesson.
The Melbourne Drive package is aimed at intermediate learner drivers, giving a good opportunity to drive in highway traffic, as well as tight inner-city traffic. The lesson involves a 2 hour driving session, followed by a coffee break in Carlton, the famous coffee capital of Melbourne for some much needed rest, before continuing driving for another 2 hours.
You can learn affordable driving lessons that include preparing learners with basic skills and beginner packages. Our aim is not just to get you the driver's licence but to foster drivers with excellent skills. We train our learners with mannerisms and knowledge to use the busy roads with quality cars and excellent driver training.

So I intended on going with start smart for my driving lessons as I have had 2 friends of mine go through the same company and not have any issues. I decided on buying the beginners package as it seemed like the best value for my money. My first issues is the website itself I don’t know who made it but it is extremely hard to navigate and not clear to understand. When I went to buy the package I clicked the “pay later” option as I was waiting to get all of the money to pay up front, once I got the money I literally could not find a button or way to edit my appointment so I could pay upfront

I booked my test with David seeing all the good reviews. But as David does not take any more classes or tests so currently I think Erika is in charge. I found her very much unprofessional as she never discussed or consulted with me before changing my booked classes.
I was forced to take one of my classes with another car which I did not even book.

David is a very patient driving instructor, he's amazing at calming your nerves during lessons and is very thorough with his instructions. I highly recommend Start-Smart driving school to anyone wanting to pass their driving test, I was extremely nervous but because of the lessons I took I prepared and passed my test.

I owe my first time pass to David. He was incredible with helping me manage my test day nerves, as well as fitting in some last minute helpful tips. I couldn’t imagine any other driving instructor going as above and beyond for their student as David has. Will be recommending him to all my friends who are yet to get their license
