Services
Safer Driver Driving School is the affordable driving school in Geelong. And with over 35 years experience teaching people how to drive, you won't find a more experienced and patient driving instructor. I'll help you with your learner's test and we'll do practice driving tests. Then I'll teach you how to pass your VicRoads drivers test - and I'll book a driving test for you.
So you're learning to drive for the first time. Fantastic! A learner's permit will allow you to drive on the road with an experienced driver (they must have a full licence) before you take the drivers test. To get a Learner's Permit, first you need to be at least 16 yrs of age and you must pass the Learners Permit Knowledge Test.
A Learner permit allows you to drive a car on the road with an experienced driver while you are learning to drive. The Learner's Permit Knowledge Test is a 32 question test which you answer on a computer at a VicRoads Customer Service Centre. We help people convert their international drivers licence to an Australian driving licence. If you don't have a victorian drivers licence but have an international drivers licence, you'll want to get an Australian drivers licence. The process of actually getting an Australian driver's licence is called Overseas Licence Changeover or Overseas Licence Conversion.
My name is Zed Dula and I have been a driving instructor in Geelong since 1980. So I've been teaching people how to drive for over 35 years. I have taught a lot of students over this time and now I'm even teaching their children and grandchildren! I'm a fully qualified and professional driving instructor registered with the Victorian Taxi Directorate and adhere to the code of practice for authorised driver trainers.

Zed is the best driving instructor in Geelong. He will pick up what you need to focus on the most and you will be ready to pass your test very quickly. He is very attentive and explains things clearly. I got my licence straight away thanks to his great teaching. Highly recommended.

I'm an overseas driver, with more than 5 years of license. On exception, I'm able to get a slot and take my test. I came across Zed online, contacted and had a lesson. Instructions and suggestions are so helpful to learn and improve. Best thing, on the test day, he takes on a pre driving test, which relieves all the stress and makes yourself comfortable. Finally loved the experience and recommend.

My story: I had an overseas driver's licence. I was planning to convert my licence to Victorian licence but I was not confident to appear on a road test. For me, the catch was that if I failed the road test, I would not be able to drive with my overseas licence anymore. I had two lessons from Zed prior to the road test. He correctly identified my weaknesses and gave me advice for improvement. He took me to the possible test routes for driving which helped me immensely. After the second session, I asked him if I needed one more driving
