We are a boutique architectural firm, specializing in apartment renovations. Working at the intersection of architecture and interior design, we redefine and re-fashion inner urban spaces to create beautiful, functional homes. Good design relies on good project management. Which to us means a cohesion of all the elements that go into a project, from supplier to builder, design to construction, we are a part of every process.
Located in Melbourne's central business district, we have a unique relationship with space and light, often working where both are scarce. With functionality and an unwavering focus on the livability of a space, we are able to revise and reconfigure, manipulating whatever little or expansive space is available.

Designed by the noted architect, Nahum Barnet and built in two stages by Clements Langford for Frederick Dodge from 1902, the former Melbourne Sports Depot, although much altered, is of regional architectural significance for its notable decorative elements from Barnet's much-favoured tall-arch Romanesque revival phase, and for its contribution to the streetscape.
Every project, big or small, starts with an idea. If you've been thinking about making where you live more functional or simply better looking, well that's not a bad idea. Whatever the driving factor, don't let not knowing where to start, stop you from reaching the finish. We are fighting an invisible enemy and the whole world is adjusting in kind and trying to best respond to the current crisis.

From the outset Shelley takes meticulous care to work with you to find the best solution to your building or architectural challenge. Shelley led me through the remodelling on a tight budget of my 1918-built California bungalow with a poorly designed 1970s extension. Every design step and choice of materials and fittings was carefully considered and made collaboratively. It was a delight to work with Shelley and her team. Her vision and skill brought elegant and cost-effective solutions within the same footprint to maximise light and space and make it the family home we’d always wanted but didn’t

Woohoo! Renovating my apartment is underway – totally gutted, everything stripped out, ready to start rebuilding. She thought of everything – little things that most people wouldn’t think to ask, such as considerations for my storage requirements, and ‘where would you like to put your suitcases?’ Things I hadn’t really thought
