Spinal pain management research has evolved from the concept of core stability or resting from activity to promote a more active approach. Chronic pain is a pain that has been there longer than the natural healing time of an injury, generally longer than three months. It is difficult to know how to manage the teenager's physical complaints but we can help you manage this intense phase of physical development.
This appointment is suitable for a simple problem that you have not had physiotherapy treatment for previously. We endeavour to stay on time. If you feel you you have a complex problem or multiple problems and require a longer appointment, please feel free to book an extended consultation. This appointment is suitable for a complex problem, one that you have had for a while or multiple areas.

Two of the best physio's around - their knowledge and care really makes a difference. I have seen both Brett and Tania for neck back and shoulder issues and am always very satisfied with my rehab and outcomes. If you are looking for a physio that gets to the heart of the issue quickly with positive and effective treatment, I highly recommend Brett and Tania.

After an overdue L4/L5 spinal fusion by the excellent Dr. Stephen Lewis I was referred to Brett. Having been a gym rat for the last 30 years I've seen my fair share of physio's in that time so I know the good ones from the bad ones.. Brett is not a good one, he's a FANTASTIC physio! He listened to me for the first 10 mins, then from that point he immediately had the game plan all worked out for me.
Even though I knew the surgery had the best outcome (Dr. Lewis was over the moon with my initial progress) I was still in pain and cautious. Brett threw all that out the window within the first appointment

I popped a calf muscle in training a short while ago, and I have been seeing Alison Slevin at West Coast Physio to get back on track. The results have been excellent. Alison located the problem and manipulated the calf muscles in a few sessions, together with a range of home exercises to get strength and movement back in the calf. I could not be happier with the result, or the experience. Highly recommended... Alison is a gun Physio!

My family have been seeing Alison for a number of years for various reasons. She is so thorough in her assessment and has fixed our painful feet, dodgy hips and went over and above to not just treat but care for mum when she was ill. Alison is currently treating my son's growing pains and calf pain and already within a week he's pain free and feeling stronger. Couldn't get Dad to a physio until he met Alison. He won't go anyway else now. He says she's a breath of fresh air!! Professional knowledgeable kind caring and if she can't fix you, who can? She excellent at explaining all you need to know

I had spinal surgery in early Feb 2019 and was referred to West Coast Physio (Brett), by the surgeon. My previous experiences with physio's wasn't good as I found they usually just push around and use some fancy ultra sound machines in an attempt to make you feel better. Most of the time this never worked.
But I went in with an open mind and to… my surprise Brett was an exception to the norm. He acknowledge the fact that the surgeon had done all the hard stuff and bolted everything together. All I had to do was strengthen things up. With his help I managed to do this and three months down

Went to West Coast Physio yesterday for possible tennis elbow. After a few minutes and a few simple tests I told it wasn't tennis elbow and my pain was just an entrapped nerve from the way I slept. Brett's knowledge was next level. He showed me some stretches to do and worked on some tight spots in my neck and back and then I was told I didn't need to come back. Thus is the first time I've been to a physio or chiro and not told I had to do multiple sessions. I Would definitely recommend Brett to anyone!
