Both my girls have attended MDA since they were 3 years old. Classes were consistently the highlight of our week when the girls were young, and now they are older it is "home" for them. Their classmates are like sisters and they are truely bonded to the teachers.

Mosman Dance Academy is committed to the development, inspiration and achievement of young dancers. Jasmin has over 20 years experience training students in classical ballet. She has travelled to ballet schools and companies across Europe including The Royal Ballet School, The Royal Ballet Company and The Birmingham Royal Ballet Company for education and training. She has also served on the Royal Academy of Dance Regional Advisory Panel for over 2 years.
MDA's Pre-Primary classical ballet programme introduces the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and continues the development of ballet technique as new steps are introduced to challenge and extend our young dancers. Our classes are always kept fun and creative keeping your dancer in love with ballet. Dancers in Pre-Primary ballet have the opportunity to participate in our annual concert held in November.
Classical ballet is the foundation of Mosman Dance Academy's dance training. Students in Grades 1 & 2 follow the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus ensuring they learn the skills that underpin secure technique, including core stability, weight placement, turnout and line, while continuing to nurture and encourage artistry and dynamics.
Classical ballet is the foundation of Mosman Dance Academy's dance training. Students in Advanced Foundation follow the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus expanding on their knowledge from the intermediate syllabi.
Dancers are inspired technically, artistically, musically and creatively with exercises that encourage critical thinking and physical fitness while also developing an advanced sense of theatre, movement dynamics and musical interpretation.Dancers are required to undertake additional part-time Classical Ballet Study at this level.

I have been taking my daughters to dance classes at MDA for over 6 years now (RAD ballet, jazz and contemporary). They love their dance classes, have formed great friendships with their dance peers and their dance technique has improved markedly over the years.
Apart from learning great dance technique, there are lots of opportunities to perform on stage. My daughters look forward to being a part of the fabulous and professional end of year concerts as well as the wonderful experience of performing in group/solo Eisteddfods. My daughter would live at MDA if she could! This is a testament to environment created by the wonderful teachers at MDA. They foster a sheer love of dance whilst teaching correct technique and artistry from the beginning. A great dance school which caters for all levels and styles - from beginners and casual dancer to those who strive to dance professionally.

My girls have been at MDA for 5 years now and have loved the teachers, the great mix of classes — inc acro, jazz, contemporary to classical ballet — and the support for their different directions and needs. It’s a wonderful place with training for the child who just wants to be strong and graceful to the driven, aspiring ballerina.

The standard of teaching at Mosman Dance Academy is impeccably high. The teachers know how to shape dancers from a young age with high quality technical guidance and support. Watching the older students dance is simply breath-taking. The Annual Concert is always magnificent with incredible choreography and costumes. My daughter just loves going here.

MDA is a fabulous dance school. It caters for students wishing to dance in a variety of styles at a competitive level, and my younger daughter really loves being part of the prize winning eisteddfod groups in Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Ballet. It also caters for the vocational ballet dancer, with my older daughter being trained in preparation for acceptance into the best ballet finishing schools in the world. Both girls feel like MDA is "home". Friendly environment and personalized coaching so they can achieve their individual best.

We have only done a trial so far but I am so impressed! They had name tags for the children when we arrived, they met the children, helped them feel comfortable and have been so nice. We have done a trial at another place and Mosman Dance Academy is outstanding in comparison! The kids are so excited to go back next week and I'm happy to be there too (the wait area is nice, the parents are friendly and there are are tables to get some work done while I wait).
