Hoomiko Sushi

So disappointed to find out that they don't take orders after 8pm on a Saturday night. This needs to be on the website and the answering machine to avoid a waste of a journey.

Best fresh sushi in the Shire - Absolutely love the food. We have been going there for years and it never disappoints. We strongly suggest the grilled salmon sushi, Hoomiko roll, salmon and sushi sashimi, and… gyozas. Everything is fresh out of the kitchen. The owners and the staff are adorable as well.

They've got a button on the table to call for service so don't let the kids play with it, lol. The food comes out, timely and tastes really nice. The decor is nothing special and the vibe is of a relaxed family outing rather than a special dinner date. But nice enough. The staff were nice... And probably used to their buttons being pushed (it wasn't me!). I think it has one or two steps up into the eating area.

So fresh and tasty. The muscle roll was so delicious (cooked tuna, avo, and grilled salmon) Yummo! Try the Bibimbab too!

These gangsters make some dope sushi. The chicken katsu avacado is top tier. Always freshly made, warm, and delicious. Nom nom.

What a delightful surprise this restaurant was. From the outside during the day, this unassuming little restaurant might not strike you as being a stand-out worth visiting, though once inside, you begin to understand what all the fuss is about. With a quaint and cozy atmosphere, Hoomiko offers incredible food with a touch of everything. Bento boxes were a hit for all seven of us dining together, including the kids, and a great way to try lots of different things. Highly recommended.

Has been waited for 20 min, nobody got the order, though a waitress received my request that we are ready to order. Moreover, we came first, then another couple, and then third couple. And a staff member started getting orders from the latest, then second from the latest. Observing this, we just decided to leave the “restaurant”. Also, the bathroom need to be properly cleaned.

Our family has been visiting Hoomiko for years. The service and food are amazing, the place has a very comfy outlook and we would highly recommend the 'gyozas', 'hoomiko roll', and 'large sushi and sashimi'. We cannot praise the owners enough as they are always very happy to have a full house all the time. Best fresh sushi ever!!!

Always great service and hot, tasty food. Our visit this week with our Japanese friends did not disappoint. Lovely young waitress was a delight and works very hard. Thanks again, we love Hoomiko!

Going here quite often now, I love the food, the price, and the quality, strange after reading other comments here that i find staff attentive every time. I really really like it here.
