Our frozen curries are available for pick-up at the Hong Sa Bar from Wednesday to Sunday for those on the Sunshine Coast. If you live north of the CBD in Brisbane, we deliver every Thursday and you can order your frozen curries online. Romantic dinners, partying with friends in a private courtyard, or celebrating weddings and special occasions - Spirit House is a perfect recipe for a dining experience to remember.
Whether you're a competent cook or simply want a basic understanding of Asian ingredients and cooking methods, a hands-on Spirit House cooking class is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills and have an enjoyable day out which includes lunch/dinner and wine. We provide all aprons, knives, utensils etc. for you to use during the duration of the class.

It is quite rare these days to be extended such wonderful friendly service combined with an amazing product.
How lucky we are to be living in the zone that Spirit House delivers their fabulous food to! Recently, we ordered for the first time your curries. They were just delicious and delivered promptly on time to our home. However, I had made a mistake on ordering, and received a curry we did not like.
That’s where the amazing service comes in - when I called to explain, not only did I receive such a friendly reply but a replacement was delivered to my home to counteract my mistake! How wonderful

Outstanding dishes. We would highly recommend spirit house to anyone looking for a relaxing yet adventurous dinner experience. The seating was ideal for letting you feel like you're among the rain forest.
Our waiter Cristian was fantastic, friendly, polite, professional and highly knowledgeable on all the different dishes. We had high expectations and were not disappointed.

It was great, we really liked it, we went with the food adventure, we thought 2-3 hours is going to be too much but it took 2,5 hour and it was perfect. Staff was very professional. However, my stomach did not like all of the dishes mixed and felt really bad whole evening and morning after. Paid $300, it was somewhat worth it. Thank you

We went to Spirit house with wife and parents in law for their wedding anniversary. Unbenounced to us the menu has changed to a minimum of $95p head. My mother in law made the booking online as wasn’t aware of this. We firstly approached the wait staff thinking they had given us the wrong menu but were quickly shut down by a very aggressive and rude lady. After my father in law complained we were then looked after a much nicer gentlemen who put the table back in a good mood. We decided to continue with the meal and pick our 3 meals each. Was recommended this place by someone and couldn't be happier that I went. The food and service was outstanding. I went with the four courses, the highlights being the Trio of Miangs and Green Curry of Wagyu brisket. I enjoyed one of the finest dining experiences Ive had in Australia to date here. Well worth the drive from wherever you are based in the sunshine coast.

We were group of three having an awesome day in Sunshine Coast until we decided to go to Spirit House. We ordered Vegetarian Pad Thai with Korean rice noodles and Thai Fried Chicken with mango salad and waited for nearly one hour. I had high hopes about food and we were starving.The noodles tasted weird and I couldn't eat more than a spoon. Same with the mango salad and chicken. It was the WORST FOOD I ever had in my life. Finally they charged 114$ for food and 9$ for water.

The grounds are stunning, just walking in you feel relaxed and in another world.
It is expensive but the food is delicious! Service was attentive but not over the top and wine menu just as good as the food menu.
Being vegetarian I had no problems, they have options for us kind.
I ended up going for the banquet, which ended up way too much, I even had to ask for a doggie bag to take some home!

Very disappointed - we are repeat local customers. the service was not as good as you would expect from venue of this calibre. something has changed within the last few months; we will now really think about going back. staff blamed a function, after we complained about the wait for our main course, drinks were slow in arriving, we served ourselves wine from the bottle for most of the night, meals delivered to the table without plates in front of us, no servicing cutlery were included on the banquet plates. the food was not as tasty and impressive as previous visits.

This eatery was recommended to us by a friend and it did not disappoint. The pork for entree was a great starter. Our mains which comprised the beef brisket and the duck. To be honest the combination of herbs and spices made for absolutely delicious eating. The size of these dishes left no room for dessert but we washed down these delicacies with a nice bottle of red which rounded our lunch off admirably. The setting was very different to what we expected with plenty of lizards, turtles and birds in and around the pond to keep us amused. A very different experience but fulfilling just the same

Beautiful location. Polite and professional service. Very upmarket. The food is presented stunningly. It's because of this I only award 2 stars. The food simply disappoints after the amazing buildup. The flavours are repetitive and overbearing. Salt is heaped on by the bucketload. The chef is seriously heavy handed in this respect, and even if you don't have high blood pressure, I suggest you take a defibrillator anyway, just in case. Even the desert tastes like the mains. Service, although polite, was excruciatingly slow. We were there 3 hours, and the place was almost empty. Hugely

I keep coming back to Spirit House, even if I have to make the drive up from Brisbane - the food is gorgeous (the whole snapper stands out from the rest, both in taste and how it's presented), and the setting is amazing. The pond-side tables (not on the bridge) remain one of my favourite places to spend an afternoon with friends and family, and it's one of the few restaurants that I've truly missed after leaving Brisbane.

I tried the 16 hour coconut braised beef short rib. I must say i am surprised that anything that had been cooked for 16 hours could be as tough as it was. The green curry sauce was nice enough. My friends had lemongrass and turmeric chicken, which they said was okay.
The desserts were an improvement, with the ginger brulee the stand out

We loved the intimate setting and beautiful presentation of the food. The cocktail was divine! We were however disappointed that the soup came out luke warm from the teapot. It would have been so lovely if it was hot. The buffet was good value and such great intensity of original flavours for the starters. The fish sauce around the fish and the sauce around the vegetables however were both heavy repetitive and dominant. We really enjoyed the service and would definately return. We wouldn't order the fish or veggies again but would choose some different dishes instead. Thank you for a lovely

Food was mixed and the service was terrible. Whiting and tempura vegetable starters were great. The signature whole fish was drowning in a sauce that tasted like it was straight from a bottle, which was disappointing as I had this same dish 20 years ago at the same place and it was amazing. Service was incredibly amateur for such an expensive restaurant. Plates left on our tables for extended periods. Our drink glasses were always empty. Staff would walk past and not ask if we needed anything and ignore the fact that our table had completely finished and the table was full of empty plates. Meals
