Went here for new years. Very popular place. The meals were awesome. we had a seafood platter for 4. Had to move to a bigger table as there was so much food. They put on an early fireworks diplay for the kids which we thought was great.

Got to be the best surf club on the coast and views to match! Friendly and helpful staff. Food was sensational! I can recommend the pork belly bites, calamari, and the steak sanga for lunch! Been a few times and the pick of the pizza is the vegetarian but add chicken! Delicious!
Worth the visit! But book ahead!

Nice location and yummy food, but really disappointed with the kitchen supervisor. A request was made to the kitchen supervisor to leave mustard off a burger for a child with Autism. We were told under no circumstances would this be accommodated. The young man serving me was very apologetic after the kitchen supervisor denied our request and I think was just as shocked as me with the response the supervisor offered.
We have never experienced this type of exclusion from a venue before and were extremely disappointed. Would definitely not recommend if you have special requirements nor will we eat

Great service and friendly staff. We sat right near the window looking at the sea which gave us a beautiful view of the ocean sunset. Food and drinks were also quite nice but quite expensive. It is definitely worth becoming a member for $10 a year as every meal has a $2 discount as a member which adds up to save you lots of money. Sweet potato chips could’ve come with aioli or dipping sauce. I do recommend booking in advance too as when we went for dinner, it was really busy. Overall experience was quite enjoyable and we will be back.

Staff are dumb, even with a Covid vax certificate but login app not working with a green tick was denied access - do not go to this place. Security guy needs to pull his head in as well.

Huge windows in the restaurant gave one of the best views of the beach as you will get. Good balance of meals at great prices. Table Service was fine, and they have a good selection of beers at the bar. Liked the place and the casual atmosphere, so we came back twice. Try the cheesy garlic bread for starter.

To have lunch at the Coolum Surf Club was a good call indeed. From the moment of arrival we were greeted by staff and told that lunch orders started at 12 noon and that if you go up the stairs you will be greeted by staff that will arrange a table for you. Lunch out on the deck please we asked, and what a view out to the ocean and beach from the deck is. When you need to order you place it at the kitchen and drinks are ordered from the bar. Checking out the menu, heaps there and we went for the Coolum Works Burger & the Garlic Prawn Pizza. Checking out the view, we didn’t wait long at all for

My husband and I had lunch at the surf club today. He ordered pesto chicken pasta and I got a woodfire rump steak with salad and chips.
His meal was amazing, but mine not so much. My steak was a little burned and tough. Chips were not fresh, but my salad was divine. I didn't complain at the time because I had already eaten half of my plate when the burnt taste got strong.. (the burned part was down on the plate, so I couldn't see it when I received my plate). And I know the quality of the surf clubs is great, I believe it was a isolated case (in any way, always good to learn where you can improve

Fabulous spectacular views (great for whale watching as well) and the most beautiful service. There is a lovely outdoor seating area but you will need to book in advance to secure these very popular tables. I enjoyed a lovely gluten free and dairy free pizza for lunch.

Was a disappointing experience today when I visited. Had to play a silly follow the arrows game at the door and then from the moment we got there it was uncomfortable. Busy or not, customer service matters. We asked one lady about some tables becoming empty and she was quite curt, telling me to go find the woman inside who was in charge of the bookings.
No guidance, no instructions on where to go.
I stood at the bar for 5 minutes being ignored and then saw the lady who had been curt outside. Where I said?
Over there she barks. I told her she could have been politer, and we decided to leave.

The Coolum Beach Surf Club has a fantastic view of the beach and nearby cliffs. The fish of the day was perfectly cooked and we loved the local Mooloolaba King Prawns. My dining companion loved his steak and tender salt and pepper calamari. The wood fired pizzas were tempting and we will try that next time. You may like to book ahead as it's a popular spot on the weekend. @coolumsurfclub

Spur of the moment decision saw us here for a evening meal. Told it was totally booked out unless we wanted to sit out on verandah overlooking the beach. This seemed a plus more than a disadvantage, so we jumped at the proposal.

Dishes were very promptly served and of good quality, would advice a visit by everyone who is in Coolum. But a bit of tip make a reservation.

Thanks

You can never seriously fault a food and drinking establishment that has prime position on the beaches of Queensland and supports our lifesavers. The Coolum Beach Surf Club is one of my favourites. A modern building with a wall of glass and large sheltered balcony making the very best of the views of rolling surf that it stands guard over. They have a great kitchen with an impressive new pizza bar at great prices. Perfect for a long lazy lunch watching the surf, as long as you can stomach an occasional Cliff Richard track....
