I love making people feel and look, like a more beautiful version of themselves. Whether that be doing hair and/or makeup for weddings, special occasions, formals, photoshoots, commercials - I never tire or get bored with what I do. Following a career as an accountant and teacher, I’ve been working in the industry since 2001 – a very long time but it only feels like the blink of an eye to me.
All services are offered as a fully mobile makeup service. Both traditional and *AIRBRUSHING* application methods are offered. I use THE MOST AMAZING false lashes you will ever see: soft, natural and absolutely dazzling!. All areas from Brisbane up to the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast as well as Stradbroke Island, Moreton Island, Ipswich, and Toowoomba covered.
It is important that you are totally comfortable with every single person surrounding you on your wedding day. Since the day can sometimes be stressful while preparing for the excitement of meeting your "Prince Charming" and exchanging "ido-s", you want to be surrounded by calm, caring and professional people who have the same goal in mind - making you look stunningly beautiful on your wedding day.

Melissa came to my home yesterday to do my hair and make up. She was punctual, warm and friendly and very efficient. She did an excellent job of my hair and makeup and frequently asked for my input, checking in to make sure that I was happy with how it was going. Not being one who usually wears much make-up, I left it to her expertise and was thrilled with the final result. Thank you Melissa. I will definitely call on you again

Mel cuts my Photoshop time in HALF! From a portrait and wedding photographer's point of view, I think this is the greatest test for a makeup professional. Knowing how to expertly contour for camera and create a lasting base with a flawless finish only comes from years of experience in a TV and stage environment, constant training and good quality product and equipment. I know that my headshot, portrait and wedding clients will be blown away by their photos when Mel is in charge of their look. She also has a lovely kind and calming presence, which is exactly what you need if you're feeling jittery
