The project Byford Smiles was conceptualized few years back as a Modern Dental practice south of the river that could provide various oral and dental health related services under one roof. My name is Abhishek Singh fondly knows as Abhi/AB and I aspire to build up a team and a well equipped surgery to be able to do that.

After completing his Bachelor of Dental Science in Mumbai, Dr Abhi wanted to practice a high quality of dentistry internationally and became accredited by the Australian Dental Board in 2011. Dental care isn't just a medical profession for Dr Abhi; it combines his love of art and science. He always enjoyed painting and sculpting and knew dentistry would be a great way to help people.
Dr Akshay Dalvi graduated with a Bachelor of Dental surgery in 2008 and initially worked in Mumbai, India. After moving to Australia he completed his Masters in Public Health and has been working as a dental surgeon in Perth since 2014. Dr Akshay enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a keen interest in orthodontic alignment of teeth.
Dr Alefia Mithaiwala completed her Bachelor of Dental Sciences in 2012. She has now over six years of dental experience and has developed a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. Dr Alefia strives to provide comprehensive dental services to her patients and is known for her gentle and caring nature.

Terrible experience at this dental practice. I left in tears. I had an examination and X-ray to be told I need a root canal, I stated I would rather have the tooth removed. The dentist said she would get her ‘Senior’ to come and speak to me... he came in and was initially friendly he asked me why I wanted my tooth removed and told me I was too young to have ‘no teeth’ and I should have a root canal. There was no education or explanation on what a root canal was or how it was done etc. I said I would prefer it be removed at this stage and he turned to the other dentist and said ‘just remove

Would highly recommend. Had my first appointment here yesterday with Dr Singh who was great and explained everything very clearly regarding current and future dental work. Tanya on front desk was very warm and helpful and took the time to explain treatment costs, gap charges etc. Will definitely be going back for follow up treatments.

I visited Dr Alefia at Byford Smiles today and she has finally settled my nerves about seeing a dentist! Dr Alefia was very calming and explained everything thoroughly and in terms that was easily understood.
