We offer Tap Exams with The "Australian Academy of Dance" as well as Classical and Jazz Exams with "Australian Dance Vision". We also offer Kinder Dance Classes, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Adult Tap, Open Senior Jazz, Musical Theatre, Zumba and Pilates. We offer classes for all ages - 3 years old to adult AND for all levels and abilities - Beginners to Advance.

Styles / uniforms Report

Noisy shoes, great sounds as performed by Gene Kelly & Fred Astaire in movies such as 'Singing in the Rain'. And of course the more current tapping of Tap Dogs. The Syncopated rhythmic dance style using both older and modern day music. Southcoast Dance School follows the syllabus of 'Australian Academy of Dance and Theatrics.

Been here since kindergarten or 1st grade now I'm in 7th grade an I miss everyone soo much! Ms. kacy, Ms. Emily and the rest of the staff even the dancers here are like family to me and I miss them a lot! Also Ari will ALWAYS be in our hearts and I miss her SOO much too! <3

St. Louis Academy of Dance is a great studio for both children and adults. Miss Kacy, Miss Emily, and the rest of the staff at SLAD are incredible! Their focus is on proper dance technique, not competitions, which we greatly appreciate. Always professional!

All three of my daughters are students at SLAD. They have each improved their self confidence, poise, and sense of commitment through dance, and it's been wonderful to watch each of them develop different skills through learning the multiple disciplines offered at SLAD. The instruction, facility, and quality of choreography is unprecedented in the city of St. Louis. Kacy Voscuil, the artistic director, runs a world class operation which our family is so grateful to be affiliated with. Our daughter has been dancing at SLAD since 4th grade and is now in high school. We're pleased with the quality of instruction she's received and really appreciate the professionalism of the staff. They are very approachable and have always been responsive to questions or concerns when we've had them. We've always felt the staff at SLAD have our daughter's best interest at heart and so appreciate the poise and incredible confidence that have helped her develop. We're proud to be a SLAD family!!!
