We are a family of North Indians that got together to make a team at Pind Baluchi to serve you the most authentic and street food flavours. We struggled in the beginning, however, within 6 months we started doing well. We decided to give this restaurant a name which describes the kind of cuisine we are offering and named this restaurant as "PIND BALUCHI" which means "Cuisine of a Village" in 2011.
The Chef (Pardaman Singh) at Pind Baluchi is from a small town called Meerut, near Delhi. From there he never stopped and kept moving forward. Pardaman Singh worked in "Royal Court" for 2 years and then moved to "Southern Palm Beach Hotel" in Kenya as a Sous Chef. After working in Kenya for another 3 years he came to Australia as a skilled migrant with his small family.
We cater for all types of functions and events from in-house Birthday Party, Ring Ceremony, etc. to out-door house warming parties and marriage functions or bulk food pick-ups or deliveries. Selecting a menu can be a bit challenging if you choose to have a catered service. Catered service can be only food or food along with the drinks which can be hot Indian tea, cold drinks and alcohol.
I have ordered and eaten at this Restaurant for so many years and by far I love the food that the chef serves from the kitchen to the table to service is absolutely breath taking! My kids and I have eaten here a few times and all of us have enjoyed it very much. My kids have particularly liked the flavor and taste of the dishes.

When I planned to start my business in the food industry (my own restaurant), I had given a lot of thought to which cuisine to choose, based on what is my background and where I can give my best to the customers with my cooking skills, taste, flavors.

I had a small function recently for around 30 people, and Simran was very helpful in determining the quantities of the various dishes I wanted. She made some recommendations on certain dishes which I took onboard. I feel she also saved me from having lot of leftovers and waste. The food arrived on time at the venue and in easily manageable containers. The food was amazing! Several guests asked about the food. I'd highly recommend Simran and her team. Will be eating there again and again !

Service was very rush, wrong attitude and not respectful.
Food was okay. Extremely poor service and unprofessional.
Kids were on the table and was told to make sure the table does not get messy with papad 😡
If it’s a family restaurant and want to leave early then reduce operating hours or keep extra staff but always respect customers.

This place is amazing!
Everytime we eat here no matter how difficult or large the order, it's perfect! (Vegan and/or GF)
Tonight, we were craving Pind Baluchi but unfortunately we are outside of the delivery area and outside of our 5km :(
We got what we could from an Indian chain restaurant and it honestly left us feeling sick.
Now all we want is more PIND BALUCHI! Can't wait to be able to get here again!

Oily food insolent staff slovenly service. They are trying to justify their poor quality food and insolent manner. I did none of those things , other than vomit after eating a few mouthfuls of their food.
I did not leave the bathroom sink dirty or full of mucus.
I was aggressively approached by chef who claimed I did. I went into the bathroom, and found it clean except for a pea sized fragment of food in sink drainhole.I turned on the taps again to wash the clean sink.
Later paid my bills for food I did not eat and left.
The responsibility to serve edible food and keep a restaurant clean is

Poor quality food. Tasteless bland . I saw staff being rude and disrespectful to customers.
Shabby place. Customers coming simply due to lack of competition and choice in Narre Warren.
A lot better indian restaurants closer to the city Better value better quality ingredients superior cooking.
I have noted reviews similar experiences by other disappointed customers. It appears what I observed and experienced was not an isolated incident.

Tonight my partner and I had dinner at Pind Baluchi. We ordered the garlic naan, onion Bhaji, potato madras, coco veggie korma, saffron rice and some beers. We cannot fault any dish. Every single dish was served perfectly with the greatest customer service we have ever received at a restaurant. We are foodies and eat out very often and by far this was our favourite experience we have had. The meals were made with love, you could just tell this restaurant takes pride in their business, cooking, and genuinely values their customers. It was wonderful getting to know Simran (the owner), we can't wait
