RedSquare Traffic provides a range of traffic engineering, traffic management and traffic data collection services. Traffic Reports, Car Parking Assessment Reports, Traffic Management Plans, Construction Traffic Management Plans, Traffic Impact Assessments, Traffic Engineering Advice, Access Designs, Car Park Layouts, Traffic Surveys & Counts are some of our key services.
We provide assistance from feasibility assessment stages through to planning stages and ultimately with the delivery. In feasibility assessments we assist in providing technical advice for carparks, access paths, driveways, subdivisions, intersections and later on in the project, we provide assistance through to Planning Permit application stage where our expertise in traffic engineering and parking assessments come in handy.

Services
Traffic Engineering work involves preparing traffic engineering reports, traffic impact assessments, drawings and calculations that comply with Victorian Traffic Engineering Standards and Australian Standards for various projects. When preparing traffic engineering assessments for new developments, our outputs adhere to and comply with Council Planning Schemes applicable to your local area.
Roads Authorities and/or local councils will ask you to submit a Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) for a majority of Planning Permit applications where there is a requirement to identify and assess the impact of your development on the surrounding road network. The Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) will assess the impact and identify potential engineering solutions to overcome issues.
Roads authorities (VicRoads or Local Councils) will request you to submit a Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) for most Planning Permit applications where the development is expected to generate traffic volumes that are expected to alter the existing operations of the surrounding network.
If you are handling your Planning Permit application through an Architect or a Builder Designer, they may also receive a document called Request For Information (RFI) once your Planning Permit application is lodged, which will request a Traffic Impact Assessment or a Car Parking Demand Assessments (for minor developments) to be submitted.

Road Safety Audit is a critical piece of work involved in any temporary or permanent traffic management setup or a road/access design. A road safety audit examines a certain road design or a temporary traffic management setup from a 'new set of eyes' to that of the designer, to identify its safety related issues.
Road Authorities and/or local councils will ask you to submit a Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP) when operating a construction site that may generate traffic that will impact road safety, regular flow of traffic, surrounding parking facilities, pedestrian & cyclist movements etc. RedSquare's traffic engineers will sit down with you and understand how your construction site will affect the road network and will develop a list of traffic engineering solutions to mitigate these issues.
