Went as a special treat for my daughter's birthday. A little dissappointed with it to be honest. $49 each for miniature pieces and a cup of tea. The food was lovely but not great value or very special. Even the table was tiny for 4 adults.

Same lovely atmosphere and the staff are helpful and sweet but... The raspberry scone recipe - the draw card for us - has obviously been changed. Now it's more of a plain scone with one token raspberry in the top but before it was lovely and buttery and full of raspberries!
My brother and sister had a sandwich each which they said was lovely. The garlic bread is overpriced. RwR was always a must for us on a trip to Brisbane and my first option for a catch up with family after being locked out of QLD for 5 months so it was a little disappointing. But the catch up was nice!

I was extremely disappointed with the 3 course meal at Room with Roses. The crab cakes were dry and may as well be potato cakes!
My main meal of Christmas Ham, was so dry and had more ham skin than ham!
My roulade dessert was so small, I hardly had time to taste it!
I arrived at 12pm and did not get served till 12:30..I had to advise staff, that we were waiting and had to get back to work!
All around, I would not recommend this establishment to anyone! Worse Christmas Lunch ever!!

We went here for high tea, we ordered a few different high teas to share around the table so everyone could try something different.
First things first, the vegetarian was served meat, and took a bite before realizing. This is a serious issue that should be immediately rectified as if she had a fish allergy you could have killed her. Barely an apology was made, and we waited a while longer for the new platter to arrive which just had a few extra mini cheese scrolls and an extra slice of egg sandwich instead. Also worth noting - the vegetarian ordered the fondue tea and marshmallows were served

No photos taken.
Ordered a chicken breast sandwich. Thought it would be trimmed, crustless. Instead it came 3 slices deep with crusts, impossible to eat elegantly. So embarrassed to be leaving so much crust, I didn’t eat the remaining sandwich. Finally had to cover up my plate with my serviette because it looked so ugly.
Our table service was attentive and returned numerous times to take our order.
Vacated tables took a long time to be cleared.
I will never return.

Great little tea room hidden away in the middle of Brisbane city. The vibe is very retro in the cutest way. We went one weekend for their high tea as that's what they're known for and it was a great experience. There's a nice range of sweet and savoury snacks which were all decent but nothing really stood out. The service was average, a little slow but not terrible. Overall it was a fun experience and I would definitely recommend giving it a go.

A great place to catch up with friends. The ambience is awesome and the foods were superb. Staffs were polite and courteous except for the receptionist who hesistantly gave us the table we like to be seated on. But overall, this is highly recommended resto if you happen to go around Brisbane Centeal.🥂👏

Beautiful architecture. I have been meaning to eat here for years.
Known for high tea. Many I people around me appear to be enjoying their high tea experience. I had Eggs Benedict with bacon and gluten free bread. Overall it was very nice. The portions are small for the price but cooked well. I will be back for high tea one day.

I have had many occasions to visit this great venue from a treat and day out with my wife to meeting a few business colleagues. It has been on every single occasion a great experience. Customer service has always been excellent and the staff are always friendly. Highly recommend this venue for a pleasant day out, business meeting or as a venue to run a workshop.
