Services
Darcy McCaslin, Owner and Director of AFPP is a Canadian born immigrant to Australia. He has lived alongside traditional landowners of Australia and gleaned much of his knowledge and expertise from them. AFPP operates out of the Gold Coast and services the surrounding areas of South East QLD and northern NSW.
We deliver feral animal protection and provide specialised services to our clients including pigeon removal during trading hours. The need for animal control is an evident problem across Australia but especially in Qld where firearms and hunting are prohibited in our state forests.

There are increasing news reports and regular public sightings of feral animals in South East Qld from feral deer, pigs, foxes and rabbits on our Gold Coast streets to pigeons spreading disease-causing pathogens to humans in our local cafes.Whether it be industrial warehouse owners needing to remove messy pigeons to property owners inundated with feral deer, pigs and wild dogs destroying their properties and killing livestock.
Gold Coast: This option has a flat rate fee of $50 per half an hour call out for Gold Coast locations and $100 per pigeon removed. Brisbane: This option has a flat rate fee of $100 per hour call out for Brisbane locations and $100 per pigeon removed. AFPP advises that pigeons found on your food premises could result in a fine according to the Food Safety Standards 3.2.2 and 3.2.3 which are mandatory for all food businesses.
The Code states that a food business must not permit live animals (except seafood or other fish or shellfish) in areas in which food is handled or served. The health and safety of your patrons and employees is paramount to you. To ensure their well being you will do all you can, just like you take measures to ensure there are no rats and cockroaches on your premises.

I had a serious pigeon problem on my house. I had tried another pest control contractor, but he was unable to get rid of the birds. That's when I engaged Darcy, and he was able to explain to me the plan he was going to use, and assured me that he could fix the problem. During the process Darcy would keep me up to date with what was happening, and the success of the plan he was using. All of the birds have now been moved on. Thank you Darcy for doing a great job.

Had a pigeon issue and nothing worked for us -- loud noises, fake owls etc.. Took a gamble on Darcy and AFPP's traps and bang, two months later problem 100% solved. Darcy's team was professional, discrete and did exactly what they said they'd do. Great job.
