The guys at A&R are very efficient and reliable. They arrived on time and moved my stuff within the shortest time possible. The staff are also helpful in my queries, and responded very quickly. For quality and value, I would definitely recommend and or use them again.

We paid extra for a shipping container to avoid our possessions being loaded and reloaded during inter state move. This was a waste of money as our belongings were still unloaded and reloaded during the journey and our fridge and new barbecue were badly damaged along with several other items arriving with scratches, even the enamel lid of washing machine has a large chip. This would have needed quite a bump to achieve.
The manager in Cairns doesn’t care and just said we should have taken out insurance. Insurance should be for if the truck has an accident or fire. It should not be required to

The movers were great. But there was poor communication, lack of information, I told them it was a first time using a removalist and no guidance was given during the process. No timeframe or anything. I was told during the quotation that it will take only 3/4 days to move from Cairns to Brisbane, and after my furniture was taken they told me my delivery date was 2 weeks after. So not 3/4 days anymore. We had already traveled to Brisbane with my one year old and had no furniture, we had to spend more money on hotel, which we had planned for a few nights but not two weeks.
