Dry Needling typically refers to the use of solid filiform needles (acupuncture needles) to stimulate specific therapeutic reactions in the target tissue. No agent or substance is injected into the body. Unlike the traditional Eastern use of needles known as acupuncture, the Western scientific method of dry needling is an evidence based approach.

Physiotherapy (Physical Therapy) uses manual technique, exercise programmes and electrotherapy to treat a wide range of physical conditions. Physiotherapy focuses on muscles, the spine, nerves and joints of the body. Core muscles are important in maintaining stability and strength of the upper and lower body.
Physiotherapists study muscle and joint anatomy and physiology, therefore they have the expertise required to effectively prescribe Pilates for people with and without pain or injury. Pilates is also a great way to exercise before and after pregnancy.
Pilates-informed exercises with a physiotherapist improves core stability to help manage and prevent low back and neck pain, enhances postural control, body awareness and flexibility, helps to reduce the risk of pain or re-injury and strengthens and tones the muscles.

We received emergency care by the most beautiful therapist who was great with my child and very proficient. Unfortunately the practice manager declined our second appointment as I requested to take the bill (we paid our private health portion). It’s a very sad day when administrators decide who receives care and who doesn’t based on cash flow.

Unfortunately I'm constantly injured from football, gym or other sports. I first visited Kardinya Physiotherapy perhaps 18 months ago, and since then have returned a couple of times to see Karl. He's great at what he does and getting me back on track. My last injury (a calf/achilles injury) is now completely fixed and I'm able to play sport and train again. If (when) I get injured again, I'll be visiting Karl again. Thanks guys!
