Services
For your convenience, Mountain Creek Motel has a share guest kitchen which is equipped with basic cooking utensils and includes a 5-burner bench top cooker, 2 microwave ovens, fridge, electric kettle, toaster. Also within the kitchen is the guest laundry including a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board.
Mountain Creek Motel's spa and sauna are perfect to relax those sore muscles after a day of bush walking, horse riding or skiing! We accept payment by EFTPOS, or MasterCard and VISA. Mountain Creek Motel offers skiers facilities such as a drying room for their ski gear, laundry, sauna and hot spa for soaking sore muscles.
A true dining experience isn't limited to just exquisite food alone. Ambiance, service, and atmosphere all play an integral role in creating a memorable meal and Destination takes great care to provide unique and beautiful settings to enhance each and every meal. No matter what you crave, we have something to satisfy at Mountain Creek Bar & Restaurant.
When entering the National Park in Victoria it is required by law to carry snow chains, we are conveniently located in Tawonga just before Mt Beauty. Our diamond pattern snow chains can be hired separately. Drop us a quick line with your tyre size ( you can find this in your manual or on the tyre, it will look like this (225 x 45 x 16) we will reserve it for you to pick up on your way through, even if it is after hours.

We stayed a couple of nights here in a first floor unit and really enjoyed it. While not modern, the room was quiet, very spacious and well equipped with a lovely view of the valley (bonus cows grazing in the foreground in the late afternoon). The pool was just the right temperature for the warm days we were there. There is a restaurant attached to the Motel that is a must visit if you like Indian cuisine. Such beautiful and authentic flavours. Our thanks to the friendly hosts.

What a find for our family to see in the New Year, amazing views of the Victorian Alps, alongside some of the best Indian food I've eaten outside of Mumbai. The kids almost refused to see the rest of the attractions in the area because they wanted to be in the pool the whole time. It's hard to relate just how welcomed we felt, and how much the service and environment helped us to decompress after a tough year and enjoy a great holiday.

I visited Mountain Creek Motel during the weekend of 4th Dec and stayed over for the weekend with 20+ other friends.
Things I really liked, hence recommend:
1. The Hosts/Owners are friendly, accommodating, and approachable, they live locally and run the business.
2. The location is beautiful, within 5 mins drive to the local town
3. The onsite restaurant and bar were good option as it meant that we did not have to travel too far off for food.
I will highly recommend the Motel for anyone visiting/stopping over in the area as I am sure to visit them again.

The food is even better than what the reviews read online!!
We were having a hard day when we happened to come by this beautiful restaurant with amazing views hoping that the food is good. And our minds were blown!! The food here is AMAZING and special mention to cook Geetu for the authentic and full of flavour Indian food. I can literally drive 4 hours from Melbourne just for the food!! Absolutely loved it!!
