Bioathletic Sports Injuries & Performance
Our connected team of Physiotherapists, Strength Coaches, Dietitians and Massage Therapists are here to build a new breed of athlete we call the 'Urban Athlete'. These athletes are mobile, strong and bulletproof - and they're ready for anything. During rest, your body loses strength, flexibility and conditioning.

Injuries need the exact opposite. They need loading to stimulate healing and the underlying cause needs to be addressed, not ignored. Sure, rest can stop the pain, but it doesn't fix the problem, it just masks it momentarily. We'll teach you how to hack the recovery process with techniques used in elite sport to get back to what you love faster and with a reduced chance of getting injured on your triumphant return.
Services
Bioathletic began out of a shared frustration where everyday athletes were presenting to us with problems that hadn't been addressed by conventional physiotherapy. The approaches that were offered in the past were one dimensional and often didn't acknowledge that maintaining activity levels play a vital role in the body's recovery.
From the very beginning, massage therapy has been a big part of the Bioathletic ecosystem. Our ethos has always centred around maintaining activity levels which play a vital role in the body's recovery. Massage therapy is one element of our secret sauce in keeping you active and avoiding extended time on the sidelines of your sport, or lifestyle.
Nutrition has become complex but our dietitians work towards a clearer vision - Healthy messages made simple. It's a vision that Functional Food Solutions founder Peta Carige has crafted to ensure all clients feel empowered to improve their health, through food.

Consulting to elite teams and athletes to maximise performance as well as helping everyday Australians to build a healthier lifestyle, dietitians Peta Carige and Melissa Juergens have become essential members of the Bioathletic team.Making healthy habits both simple and practical and developing bespoke advice to suit each individual is their mission.
When we looked at the performance spectrum for athletes, from injury all the way to peak performance, we realised that the missing link was at the pointy end of performance. We have highly trained and experienced physios with additional degrees in Exercise Science who focus on taking athletes who are already performing and making them better.
When it comes to improving health and performance, a one-size-fits-all approach fits no one well. That's why we've created a health and fitness platform that goes beyond the realm of sports performance, personal training, or traditional physiotherapy. Our members get access to all the elements that are vital to their health and fitness - the everyday ingredients they need to perform at their best, be it at work or play.

Both my husband and I phoned to check out this business, with the hope of finding me an exercise physiologist (EP). On both occasions the EP was unavailable to speak with us on the phone but when I called, the receptionist persuaded me that I might as well book the standard one hr 'initial' consult to get started with their EP the following week. I arrived for the appointment and was greeted by the EP who asked me to fill in a lengthy form, as I expected when embarking on a new relationship such as this. But it was only after I inquired about the EP's obvious pregnancy, asking
