Phillip and Francis are members of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and the Australian Sports Medicine Federation and therefore regularly access a comprehensive program of continuing education. Southside Physiotherapy upholds high standards of service and personalised healthcare in our convenient location in the Cronulla/Burraneer area.

We offer same-day appointments for severe injuries. We have flexible hours of operation and are open on Saturday mornings to make it easier to access our services. Both Principals Phillip Richardson and Francis Crossle are Titled Sports Physiotherapists. They have undergone a rigorous selection process to ensure that they have the level of experience and knowledge required to be awarded the title.
Services
Southside Physiotherapy is a complete, self-contained injury rehabilitation facility on the ground level. Our exercise area is air-conditioned and well-appointed to enable targeted rehabilitation techniques using state-of-the-art equipment. Our group sessions are conducted by qualified instructors with a special interest in achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Southside Physiotherapy can get you back on the field quickly with the latest sports injury treatment methods including accelerated rehabilitation techniques. Southside Physiotherapists are highly qualified and trained in the assessment and treatment of sports injuries.
Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) are university qualified experts in the field of exercise prescription for various health issues, enhancing athletic performance, returning to work or sport from an injury and/or accident or achieving overall health and fitness goals. AEPs are allied health professionals, providing their expertise on exercise and lifestyle therapies for the prevention and management for chronic conditions and injuries.
The "core" is made up of four deep internal muscles within the abdomen region which connects to the spine, pelvis and ribcage. These muscles work together to stabilise the spine and pelvis at rest and during movement, help to maintain good posture, and provide a stable base for all leg and arm movements.
It provides a handy reference on aspects of training, fitness and injury guidance, as well as the latest information on the physical enhancement of performance for sports coaches, managers and parents. Coaches and managers of local sports teams may not have the high-level resources that professional coaches have access to.
