At The Grand Thai Orchid, we pride ourselves on our friendly service, our restaurant's vibrant atmosphere and, of course, our delicious food. We take great joy in sharing Thailand's most famous dishes with locals from Upper Mount Gravatt and the surrounding Brisbane neighbourhoods.
Whether you're craving a fragrant Thai curry, a flavourful noodle bowl or one of our kitchen's signature vegetarian dishes, you're guaranteed to find something appetising on our menu.Make sure to keep an eye out for our seafood specials too. What's more, our chefs aren't afraid to turn up the heat in the kitchen so if you're in the mood to tuck into something extra spicy, just let us know.

The Thai Orchid Springwood is a lovely place to go. For lunch you can choose from a Lunch Menu or from the Main Menu. The mocktails are delicious and reasonably priced at $8.5. We had a mixed entree made up of Thai Fish cakes, Satay chicken sticks and curry puffs.
The curry puffs (clouds) are beyond your imagination; crispy, not thick and hard and the pastry disappears leaving a delicious filling.
Our other dishes were Massaman beef, Chicken & Cashew stir fry, Pad Thai chicken and special fried rice with enormous prawns.
Special mention for the melt in your mouth beef and the fried rice, again

Love the new look of the restaurant. The food presentation is great and so is the food quality! Not a fan of the calamari anymore (different crumbing), but the orchid prawns are never a disappointment being massive prawns and the yummy secret side sauce. Our mains were delicious, the crab fried rice is to die for and all the curry's are amazing. 💯

Delicious.. the restaurant has been re vamped and looks great. Attentive and friendly staff. We had the orchid prawns and satay chicken sticks for entree and massaman beef and the chicken cashew for mains. Finished with very well made coffee. Definitely need to book because for a Wednesday night, it was packed at 7pm.

Thai Orchid Springwood! The best Thai restaurant & takeaway in this city. My family brought me here since I was a young child, so I have sentimental connection, but my opinion is unbiased. I have never experienced such uncompromisingly flawless and consistent dishes accompanied by friendly and prompt service. The restaurant is often full and lively at lunchtime - and the lunch specials are extremely reasonable considering both portion and price. Pictured: one of my favourite dishes: vegetarian Pad See Ew - the noodles’ texture is perfect, the flavours are balanced, the ratio of vegetables and

Been there so many times and have never been disappointed. The food can be a little on the pricier side, especially compared to other Thai restaurants in the suburbs, the quality here is pretty up there - from the service to food.
The top picks for me are their Pad Thai & Pad See Ew, which has such a strong wok aroma that you would only expect from street vendors in Asia, cooking with charcoal.
