The Bloc offers boys and girls of school age an opportunity to learn dance and the art of performing with a strong emphasis on positive self esteem and enjoyment. Our team of teachers are committed to share their love of dance with your child and provide them with technical excellence in a safe and nurturing environment.
The centre has three spacious studios, students rec room and comfortable reception area. We showcase a mid year concert held locally in June and end of year concert held in Wollongong around November/December. Students also dance in local community performances throughout the year to give family and friends the opportunity to enjoy the children's new found skills.

Services
We are excited to announce that we have the opportunity to perform at the 2021 NRL Bulldogs dance spectacular. This event will run exactly the same as years past with weekly lessons at the studio leading up to the performance. Students will receive a limited edition t-shirt and bloc bow as part of their performance costume.
The Bloc offers a large range of dance classes for children 18 months and up in many genres of dance. We give students the opportunity to learn dance and the art of performing with a strong emphasis on positive self-esteem and enjoyment. READY SET DANCE is a one hour Ready Set Dance combo class of JAZZ, TAP, HIP HOP, SINGING and MUSIC.and a whole lot of fun! JAZZ - Develop muscle strength, control and balance and achieve coordination milestones like skipping before going to school. MUSIC - Develop the musical ear, dynamics and tempo while having fun with instruments and the parachute.

My daughter has been at The Bloc since she was 2yrs old (now 9). She was a very quiet and reserved child and throughout her time at The Bloc I have watched her confidence grow and her dance ability improve immensely. The teachers have nurtured her and helped her to become the girl she is today.

A fun professional dance studio that offers lots of classes in many dance styles. The teachers are friendly and encouraging. My daughter has danced with The Bloc for 6 years and she loves every class. I would highly recommend checking them out if you are thinking of dance for your child. They also run adult classes if your interested for yourself.

My daughter has been attending The Bloc for the past few years, each year challenges her to learn more and improve in an area that she loves. My daughter feels part of a team environment and loves seeing her friends and teachers each week. The dance concerts and routines are always different and exciting. A top quality dance school, I think the best, in the Dilly.
