DANCE HQ ORANGE is a performing arts studio with a difference. Our aim is to nurture students' love of dance and allow them to be the best they can. Our dance HQ faculty are constantly striving to improve and raise the standard of training, choreography and performance quality given in our studios.
Teamwork is the core value of our school and regular team building activities are held to encourage our students to become respectful hard working students and performers. Dance HQ provides a place for students to learn how to dance, act, and perform, building the skills they need to further pursue a career in performance, as well as developing positive self-esteem, confidence, and a healthy lifestyle.

Services
Please note all class sizes are capped - if the class you wish to enrol in is full, you will be placed on a waiting list and will be advised if a place becomes available. This class is available for the youngest of the studio - the 2-4yr old girls and boys - and incorporates the foundations of a variety of genres including Jazz, Ballet, Tap, rhythm, musicality, singing and self-confidence.
Dance HQ believes that quality training in classical ballet is an integral element of a well-trained dancer. Ballet is the basic foundation for most styles of dance and teaches the technique needed to excel in all other dance styles. It teaches alignment and musicality, increases agility, improves balance and flexibility and encourages confidence, discipline and dedication.
Emily Goodwin founded dance HQ in 2015, realising a dream to open her own dance studio in her hometown in Orange. At eight years of age Emily started dancing at Colour City Dance Works in Orange under the guidance of former Principal Miss Jacquie Hoole. She was very shy but her confidence slowly grew and she fell in love with dance.
At Dance HQ we focus on safe dance practice, with THREE stunning, custom designed studios, all with sprung floors and covered with tarkett. Our studios are air conditioned and well ventilated with plenty of natural light. Our studios feature fully mirrored walls, ballet barres and quality music systems, ensuring a professional experience for our students.
What a week some of our HQ dance families have had. These holidays a team of 14 dancers and their families jetted off on the Carnival Spirit Cruise ship to compete at the Showcase National Dance Championship. Each student trained incredibly hard to ensure they were ready to perform to at their absolute best for this prestigious event.
