We also offer delivery on Fridays and Saturdays for orders above $50 within a 5km radius. It is our desire to mimic Bali's atmosphere by serving authentic Indonesian food along with a signature warm Balinese hospitality. Every plate achieves that elusive, cuisine-defining balance of savoury and sweet flavours combined with rich traditional herbs and spices that Indonesia has to offer.

Great food, great atmosphere, horrible service and attitude of the owner.
There was only him on the floor on Sunday night, the service was slow when we even mentioned that we had to leave by certain time and he said there was no problem.
At first, we thought he was friendly but many of his jokes were actually rude, when we were ordering, he even cut us a few times to do other things which was lacking respect.
The worst was when my dessert came out to be something unexpected, fully covered by red colored fake strawberry flavored syrup that wasn’t edible (it didn’t even taste anything like

Great food, great atmosphere, horrible service
Can't say enough good things about the beautiful food, the decor, and the server Nyamnum (which is why I'm giving 2 star instead of 1). However the other server named David and the dog slow speed of service nearly ruined the night.
We ordered drinks (which took forever to get) but when we ordered our food, no exaggeration David said something to the effect of "you all are a headache" because there was 10 adults and 4 kids (which we booked for so they knew we were coming) and David was not happy and visibly irritated with us

Great experience. Authentic decor throughout. Menu has traditional meals. Staff were very friendly and we received our food quickly. Highly recommend the Martabak Telor and prawn spring rolls for entree and highly recommend beef rendang, chicken curry and Nasi goreng for mains. Excellent food. BYO, cater to small and large groups with a set menu option.

Went here on the busiest of Saturday nights. Expecting service disasters. No. True pros. Held it together and delivered perhaps not the greatest offering but terrific fare.
Impressed, and despite an absolute menagerie of back room mayhem and a plethora of group and pre-Christmas's functions, we were all well serviced, over - fed and contemplating what else to indulge in next visit.
Must say these guys offer the only 'Sayur' LODEH' in town I have found. (Vege coconut curry - da shizz). So massively happy and impressed.
Satay sauce- and Indo litmus test proved favourable

Ubud is great restaurant to visit for an authentic Balinese experience. I have fond memories of Bali and this place makes me want to go back in a hurry. As soon as you walk in you are transported back to Bali; The decor, the music, the smell of incense burning and the charismatic owner all contribute to that feeling.
For some reason this restaurant had dropped of my radar and I'm not sure why. We were here in a group and shared a number of dishes. The food is delicious, full of flavour and decent portions. We enjoyed the flavoursome nasi goreng special(special fried rice), the succulent ayam

This place is Very opulent from beginning till the end . As you walk through the solid wooden doors your instantly transformed to a luxurious Indonesian style room complete with solid wooden tables and chairs, marble tiles with an amazing granite wall display. Amazingly all these pieces were indeed shipped over from Indonesia.
The menu isn't as extensive as some Indonesian restaurants you will find in Sydney and is definitely tailored to the fine diner. The menu is rated on levels of spiciness to suit those that aren't up for something too challenging.
The chicken skewers with peanut

Really nice place. Not so sure about how 'suburban-Indonesian' it is; but one thing I can tell you is that the food is delicious. And the service is better than the best.
David, whom may be the owner, was talking to us for a good while, a very interesting guy and funny.
He was telling us, the incredible decor was made in his home country, Indonesia, where his wife and children live making a living educating the poor, he flies back there every month - fairly impressive.
I'm giving it a 5 not because the food was the best I've tasted, but because the work David does deserves

If you were to walk past Ubud and not realise it was there you would be forgiven for not realising the decor peering through the wide window and the solid wood carved doors.
Ubud is not your average Indonesian restaurant. Or is it.
If you've never had Indonesian then its a great place to fall in love with the food due to the great granite surroundings, table placing and even their very fancy restrooms complete with candlelight trail. You'll discover their menu is quite expensive when you add a few dishes, however if its a taste expedition you're on then you will enjoy your time

I've been on a bit of an Indonesian restaurant hunt lately, so we had to give Ubud a try. The verdict? Well ... it's a bit "Suburban-Indonesian". And while that may be the snobbiest, most inner-city thing I've ever said on Yelp, bear with me ... I'll explain.
Ubud is huge, and the decor is kind of over the top. There are heavy, carved wooden doors and heavy wooden tables. It's an enormous room... and being so big means it can take a while to get your food. The place all seemed very manufactured and inauthentic.* Even though it's so big, they have positioned
