David Kemp was the long-term in-house mechanic for the Warners Bay BP Service Station. When the service station changed ownership, David, and his wife Kay, decided it was time to open their own mechanical workshop. And so DK Mechanical Repairs was created. In 1998, we opened our workshop doors to the Warners Bay community.

Not often you find a mechanic like this. Quick, honest, friendly and patient. Unfortunately our car was not worth the repair and we had to sell it as a wreck. They allowed us to leave it there for a few days until we have sorted out a buyer and they even helped me find a buyer. TOP service and TOP advice. For a very low price. Not only do I write this review. I will also go there next Monday with a sixpack.

This wonderful business was recommended by a work college and I haven’t looked back!! Not being very mechanical minded I have complete trust in everyone working here everything is explained in laymen’s terms and great value!! Having recently moved from intersate, I was looking for a reliable workshop to service my Mazda. Having always had work done by the dealership, I was a little apprehensive to go elsewhere. Amazing service! I had 2 separate incidents with my tired car needing urgent attention with engine light issues. I dropped the car off both times, not expecting to see it for a week without booking it in and they still managed to get to it for at least a look on the same day. They go above and beyond.
Their diagnostics picked up my first issue that another places couldn’t and was half the price with a full print out of the issues. The guys listened to my engine and knew exactly where to look and had quite a big problem solved within a day.
