Super friendly service.. we stay here every 12months on our way upto the Whitsundays and home from there to break up our trip. It has improved 10fold. From the 1st time we stayed until now. New owners are welcoming and very accommodating. We were towing a boat and they were super accommodating of that they got people to move there cars so we could park there. 20/20 I rate them.

Made a booking for 3 people & was given a room with one bed, got it sorted after twice trying to get hold of reception as office was never open & you either had to phone or ring bell & this was at 2pm in afternoon.
Only enough cutlery for 2 people, dispensers for shower gel & hand wash were both empty, some floor tiles missing or broken.
No dish washing liquid & cockroaches in cupboards.
Car parking was a joke, very tight spaces in front of rooms, very difficult for 4 X 4's.
Pool was green & slimy even though a 'creepy crawly' was on but stuck in one position!

Above all else, the motel managers were outstanding. They had recently taken over and had worked 24/7 to tidy the place up. For example, we requested an iron, of which there there were none, and they took the time to go shopping Sunday night to purchase one.
Rooms- bed comfy, laundered sheets and towels replaced as needed. Rooms needed maintenance (no toilet roll holder, bathroom tap couldnt be turned off, hair dryer broken, tv remote broken etc). Overall it felt like the new managers have dragged the place from somewhere terrible to something that's on the improve.
