Originally referred to by the Aboriginal people as "Oopal" - "Place of Emu's", Emu Park was considered a health resort by sailors from around the world and local fisherman alike. Suffering from tuberculosis and with nothing to lose, King O'Malley left America for this magical land and upon arriving was saved and nursed back to health by a tall aborigine named Coowonga.
Endeavour Inn, located in the heart of Beautiful Emu Park, offers a relaxed, yet sophisticated indulgence which fits with the local village setting. Each unit has been finished to the highest standard and includes luxury King Koil Platinum beds, a minimum of a kitchenette with most apartments boasting full kitchens.
We were booked in for 6 nights and extended for another 5. The staff are so friendly the room was spotless as well as the pool area. The room was self contained and with the butcher next door it was very handy. The beach was in a 2 minutes walk and cafes and the best breakfast at the local bakery. Thankyou for the fantastic stay and we will be booking directly though you next time for the special gift of chocolates and champagne.

After a recent bout of technology fatigue I decided to phone and speak personally to the staff about the suitability and availability of accomodation in the Emu Park area on a recent visit. I was so glad I did. The person I spoke to was extremely polite, customer focused and helpful in advising me of my up and coming trip.
Our stay at the Endeavour Inn Emu Park was a wonderful surprise. So conveniently located just a short drive from all the busy tourist destinations. You can then return to the quaint and quiet beauty of Emu Park.

What a sensational room.... Huge shower. King Bed. Modern kitchen/laundry.
You can walk everywhere from the location. We wanted to stay in Yeppoon but couldn't get accommodation, lucky break because Emu Point is only 20 mins away and so much quieter and relaxing. Thanks to our hosts who were lovely.

Nice room, bit small but got charged an extra $50 for leaving some plates glasses and a frying pan in the sink, so if you stay here make sure you clean your own stuff or they will say its
hotel policy n charge you, which I believe is plan out disrespectful to a good paying customer who left the rest ofthe room spotless. 1 star to owners attitude.
