We all know it's difficult times at the moment. We travelled from North of Adelaide for a 30th. Staff were so welcoming and polite. Food was amazing aswell as the chef's serving us. So much so they were cracking jokes with us and making sure we were happy and fed. Covid has not stopped these guys from performing. Thank you for an amazing night.

I don’t think I’ve had a worst experience at a pub. At the bar, one of the workers barely acknowledged us and we were waiting for 5-10minutes having people served that were there much later then us. The manager then delivered our food and abused my friend for ordering a kids meal because she wasn’t that hungry and didn’t want to waste their food. If you’re a manager, keep your composure and treat your customers with respect, that’s no way to run a business. We also didn’t get cutlery with our meals, so had to get up ourselves and then, also didn’t get menus. Wont be coming here

Sorry wanted to like it but food quality was poor, extremely overcrowded line up for food and not enough staff serving. We paid extra on a Sat night and prawns were gone for the night by the time we got to that… section. There were 7 in our party and we were all disappointed. The only positive were the reno's were nice and staff friendly, but not enough of them!

The staff were very well trained and motivated to provide impressively "nothings too much trouble" good service. Having been greeted by Manager Randal I'm pretty sure where this is coming from.
The Barman was ready to talk wine and offered tastings to illustrate the conversation.
The food service staff were similarly helpful.
The environment was fresh, with a pleasant vibe. It was good to have a choice of normal tables and padded cubicle type seating.
The dollar value was there, BUT, unfortunately the food, whilst providing great variety, was more canteen standard than restaurant. It lacked

The staff were very friendly and eager to please. Overall, it's a large, clean, and spacious venue, but the sitting booths are a little cramped.I would prefer to walk rather than slide in and out. There was a good selection of food, and my favourites were the chicken sate and the dessert bar. It would be better if the soup and main dishes were a bit warmer.

A very refreshing experience the restaurant has had a wonderful makeover. A very pleasant stay overall.
I've been there for Dinner and lunch, the lunch variety was smaller than the Dinner selection.
I'll be back soon for sure.

I can see they don't want to do pub food like every other pub in the area. Unfortunately when I went here the food was overpriced. Buffet food but costs more on Friday and Saturday nights. Maybe something extra on these nights but I did not find it. Food was under temperature for the correct serving of food. Electronic ordering system had bugs in it. Had to go to the bar 3 times to see where the rest of the drinks order was. It eventually appeared as we were about to leave and definitely was not made correctly. The way they have done it up is truly fabulous, very spacious in Charlie's Diner part. Front bar covers all sporting on big screens plus much more. Well worth a trip just to see the Reno's. Great food, lovely staff 👍😉👏

Went last night Small miggys flying around me the whole time I ate. staff told me manager would come look. Nothing was done.

Amazing all you can eat at Charlie’s. Great variety, quality and food was all piping hot! Desserts were especially good staff all super friendly too HIGHLY RECOMMEND 😁

Went to charlies for my birthday yesterday and the food was a major let down
Roast was dry, Rolls were stale the fish bites tasted awful but were great a couple weeks ago and they kept running out of food i understand they are busy but really could be better organised
Certianly wasnt worth the hours drive and was a waste of my birthday money
this place is so much better during the week and hopefully the weekends rnt always like that

There was not so much food option to choose from and the food were salty and not fresh at all. a very long queue and need to wait for our turn to be served by your staff..i need to wait 3 4 min just to be… served. i think you should not include your staff in the buffet table. we are more free to take our food and no need to waste time for waiting..plus you should put more seafood option like crab, squid and put more variety like crab with chili, fried squid and so on..your buffet menu doesn't fit my stomach at all.

Family and I decided to try the new Brighton Metro Hotel after its refurbishment, to begin with the food advertised on the menu was not available. The food that was available was very salty, and the variety of food was minimal. Many of the foods that were out, there was none left of. They also charged a child’s fee, for my 2 year old niece, but… there pricing advertised is that 4 and under are free. We did question them, to which we did not receive a refund. Having eaten at the watermark 3 days ago, the food here is not enjoyable, over priced and I would not recommend for future meals

Make over looks fantastic, just stopped in for a drink but will go back and try the buffet another time. Staff were friendly and very helpful too

Better training for the bartenders, learn to be respectful to those waiting to be served, Randal could be more courteous, we watched as he nearly knocked over a customer and moved around the rooms in a manner that was not professional. the food was generally good, although steamed rice should not be hard and dry. the new crockery is impressive, but could be heavy for young people

Had a great experience here today. Highly recommend to families. Will return another time.

Couldn’t fault a single thing at our Father’s Day dinner, the whole team were super helpful and so friendly. Managers were happy to have a chat with every family in the room. 10/10

We ate in the gaming room as it’s the only option at present with renovations taking place. Service was unfriendly, in fact the lady whom was serving my husband seemed like she was annoyed with his order and he was very nice to her despite her manner.
My cranberry juice was definitely watered down. I drink cranberry all the time and it does not look or taste like the one I had here.
My husband asked for the chips to be crispy to which she replied “Our chips are always crispy”. They were not even well done! Food was average. Quite pricey actually.

Service was excellent
Food was well cooked, really good chips, steak was nice but schnitzels was a bit blan .....needed some S&P on the table which wasnt there. Sauces (mushroom, pepper, Diane & gravy) lacked flavour and tasted like corn flour thickened sauce with browning colour added to it. For me, happy no dairy added to mushroom sauce for me.
