At Contours Travel, we pride ourselves of being Latin America and South America travel specialists. We specialise in travel to Mexico, Cuba, Central America, South America and Antarctica. This is the region of the world we love and are passionate about. Every single member of our team has either travelled extensively or lived and worked there.
The mighty Amazon Rainforest, also known as the Amazon Jungle or Amazonia, is the world's largest rainforest. It covers a staggering 5.5 million square kilometres and is shared by nine South American nations. Of these, Brazil boasts around 60% of the rainforest, followed by Peru with 13%. Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana share the remainder.
Antarctica is the last wilderness, an untamed and uninhabited continent that promises to dazzle even the most world-weary traveller. Stepping foot on the Antarctic Peninsula is an incredible experience and one that we recommend for everyone. Antarctica is one of a kind destination. It might be the stunning glacial landscapes or the unique and prolific wildlife.
The Falklands Islands landmass covers around 12,000km2 comprising two larger islands (East and West Falkland) and over 700 smaller ones. The coastline is varied. Dramatic cliffs rise out the ocean in the southwest to 370m, whilst most of the south-east reaches only 60m. It is deeply indented with embayments and inlets, featuring coastal lagoons, boulder and white sand beaches.

A fabulous itinerary. Heather listened to our requirements and provided lots of suggestions. There was a last minute change with one of our destinations, Heather provided an alternate option, which as it turned out was a wonderful surprise. Heather was always available to discuss any questions we had. Thank you Heather and Contour travel. Job well done 👍

We organised a two month trip to Chile through Contours Travel, and we had a fantastic time! Heather helped us book flights and a number of tours, she was very helpful. As she'd visited the areas we planned to go to it was wonderful getting her input. Before we booked we did do a price comparison with one of the big travel agents and Contour Travels was significantly cheaper while providing better service! We'll definitely use them again on our next trip to South America.

Just returned from Peru. Sincerely thank, and highly recommend Contours Travel and Heather Poppelier in particular, for their expertise, planning, knowledge and encouragement. We visited Heather a number of times, emailed for clarification a number of times, tested Heather's patience but every query gave two 60+ ladies the confidence to pursue this… dream trip. It went spectacularly well ! The drivers, transit people and English speaking guides who looked after us every step of the way, were enthusiastic and great story tellers, we learned so much.
