We are a multidisciplinary private practice offering speech pathology, occupational therapy and psychology. The clinic comprises a team of experienced independent practitioners who all have a special interest in the well-being of families and individuals and work together to identify concerns and provide effective intervention for each client.
Each client's treatment plan is tailor made to suit their individual needs. Our clinicians are all trained, certified and recognised service providers for a range of Government and Medicare approved programs and initiatives. All in a name. The name 'Language for Life' is derived from a philosophy that solid language skills are important for each individual across the life-span.

Services
At Language for Life Speech Pathology, each of our therapists has areas of specific professional interest and this enables us to support a wide range of clients at all ages and stages of life. We aim to provide our clients with access to a group of experienced speech pathologists, to ensure we can match each client with the therapist who best suits their needs.
Your child will be eligible for a Medicare rebate if they are accessing Speech Pathology services. You need to get a Medicare Plan from your GP or Paediatrician prior to your first session in order to claim the rebate. Please note that we charge a gap fee, so you will have some out of pocket expenses.
Language for Life Pathology Services have a range of payment methods available to individuals and families, dependant on your circumstances and diagnosis. There are different schedules of fees for services privately funded (including health funds and medicare sessions) and for services accessed by NDIS, Better Start or Helping Children with Autism (HCWA) funding.

I been using speech therapy services for my son for last 1 year. Amazing admin staff and dedicated therapist's. My son have profressed tremendously with his language skills.Very accomodative to clients personal situations when offering appointments.I recommend to all my friends who require services.

Starting from the reception to all the therapists, its all smiley faces. You will forget that you have an autistic child, you will start feeling so positive.
Fiona Chrispijn is providing speech therapy to my son for last 1 year. Although, I was unable to make my non-verbal son say a single word with thousands of trials, my son said "playdough" during the very first session with Fiona which readily demonstrated me that I am at the right place. With Fiona's hard work for the year, my son is now focussed, label all the things that he sees and says many of them.

This place has the most unacceptable and disgusting customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Rang up over a year ago and put my daughter on the waitlist - had rang up another time about 3 months ago to be told she’s still on the waitlist and nothing has changed THEN I called about a week ago to be told SHE’S NOT EVEN ON THE WAITLIST. The receptionist was suppose to put her on the waitlist & send me a text which I never received. Biggest time wasters. Thanks for wasting my time Language For Life I’ll take my business else where. Terrible company. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO GO ELSEWHERE.

End of session feedbacks have been productive and helpful and we have seen our son gain so much out of the sessions.
He has warmed up nicely to his therapists and it is because of their professional and attentive approach, we have seen these great results.
Its so good to have Speech and OT sessions under one roof.
Front desk is very accomodating and helpful (in terms of finding a suitable time for sessions, answering Medicare or NDIS related queries etc).

My daughter is on waiting list for almost 4 months now, every time i call reception staff are very rude and treat very bad if you are new client. if you don't have capacity don't take new client and don't deliver false message to struggling parents.

Absolutely appalled by the lack of response from this clinic. Its difficult to come to term's with a diagnosis requiring further medical support by allied health to then be ignored by such services who you apply for funding for therapies to then ignore you requiring further time spend to find other services. after speaking with staff who don't… know how to diffuse prosperous clients and provide professional advice or support as to what other options you might be best to take as they aren't accepting new clients it took two years for me to find this information out. absolutely disheartened

Speech Therapy is comprised of dedicated, quality professionals who genuinely care about your child’s progress. We first met with Karen who put any anxiety we had about using this organization to rest. She listened to our concerns/needs for our child and paired us with Kelly. Not only has Kelly made a great connection with our son, but we have seen… nice changes in his verbal abilities in just a few months. Kelly comes prepared to every session and really keeps an open dialogue with us to continually meet our child’s needs. We couldn’t be more satisfied!!
